Character You Would Like To Play: Scott Summers/Cyclops
Powers:
Optic Blast, Spatial Awareness:Cyclops seems to possess an uncanny sense of trigonometry, in this sense used to describe his observation of objects around himself and the angles found between surfaces of these objects. Cyclops has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to cause his optic blasts to ricochet and/or reflect off those objects in a trajectory to his liking. This is commonly called a "banked shot" when applied to this talent. Cyclops has been observed causing beams to reflect from over a dozen surfaces in the course of one blast, and still hit his intended target accurately. It is his sense of superhumanly enhanced spatial awareness that allows him to perform these feats as well.
, Energy Resistance Cyclops is resistant to most energies.
Abilites: Scott is a fair pilot, a decent field leader, and proves to be adepth at martial arts.
Basic History Of The Character (Up until this point):
Scott Summers was the older of the two sons of Major Christopher Summers, a test pilot in the U. S. Air Force. When Scott was a child, Major Summers flew himself, his wife Katherine, and his sons Scott and Alex back from a vacation in his vintage private plane. The plane's engines failed and Katherine pushed Scott and Alex out the plane door with the only available parachute. The parachute was unable to slow their fall sufficiently to prevent Scott from suffering a head injury on landing. Scott and Alex were orphans, they were seperated and Scott was sent to a orphanage.
When Scott hit puberty his mutant power kicked in, optic blast flew out of his eyes and destroyed the orphanage wall. Scott spent the next five years with his eyes closed, afraid to open them again. Until a man named Charles Xavier came into his life and opend his eyes. A few year later Scott codenamed Cyclops has emerged as the field leader of The X-Men, Psylocke, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Storm, and Colossus.
Three Reasons Why You Have Chosen That Character:
1. I like to play boyscouts, so sue me.
2. I've only played an X-Man once. I want to try to play their leader.
3. With two other posters on board and another one thinking about it. I hope the X-Men stay strong.
What Do You Plan On Doing With This Character As A Person (IE: How are you changing him or her?): Most times you see Cyclops. He's the straight-laced do gooder. I want to show him as being a little wicked with his thoughts, although he won't act on them.
Two Complete Sentences In Proper English Explaining What You Can Bring To This RPG (As A Player): I can bring a decent RPer who's been at the RPing game for a year or so. I can also bring, money, booze, and women.

I let down my guard a little, that's when the giant robot rises up from the headge.
"Storm, give me some cover!"
Ororo does her job, as storm clouds cover the area and lightning reigns on this 'sentinel' bot. I let an optic blast loose and it strikes the sentinel dead in his chest.
"Clear the area, he's coming down hard."
The sentinel falls foward, heading right for me.
"This is gonna hurt..."
The Sentinel stops in the air. Jean hovers over me with a smile.
"Need some help?"
I feel my face turn red. She's a mind reader....pure thoughts, must keep thoughts pure.
