Character You Would Like To Play: Shiro Yoshido SUNFIRE

Powers: Stores radiation in his body, and generates it to degree, and is able to release it whenever he wants, in the form of plasma which bursts into flame in contact with oxygen, ionized streams which can enable him to fly. He also has infra-red vision when he wants it, in addition to an immunity to radiation. The fact that he can emit radiation could be considered a power as it can be harmful to most living things.

Basic History Of The Character (Up until this point): During WWII, when the bomb dropped on Hiroshima caused massive radiation, it inevitably caused mutation in following generations, mostly deadly and leaving children as deformed or dead. However in Shiro’s case, he seemed fine. His mother left to go to America, herself being a child of the someone affected by the bomb. After her death, her son Shiro worked as a scientific assistant upon coming of age, and helped out in a nuclear testing ground, that is where we pick up his story…

1. Potentially he has one of the most interesting abilities, with a minor tweak and proper writing, something I wish to explore.

2. I need a character, and I’ve always wanted a situation to explore this character properly in a different light.

3. Are you going to tell him that no-one wants to pick him as a character?

What Do You Plan On Doing With This Character As A Person (IE: How are you changing him or her?): I’m going to focus far more on the nature of radiation, and his temper-mental nature, forming him into a villain.

The beautiful sound of knowledge in motion buzzed, the generators whirling and spinning into life. Dials glowed and flashed with the insurgence of speed within the turbines.

“Shiro, adjust to compensate for additional vibrations.”

Keying in a few figures into the computer, immense and numerous calculations were completed in seconds by the system which the success of the project relied upon.

“Done.”

CLICK……….CLICK CLICK………..CLICK………CLICK CLICK….

“That doesn’t sound right.”

“I’ll go and check it out.”

Leaving his station, the Japanese assistant walked towards the purring cylinders, hoping to find the cause of the unexpected clicking, unfortunately he did.

“We have a problem…”

Incandescent radiance filled every corner of the hall, the cracking sounds of the air itself being torn apart at the molecular level sounded like savage thunder. Smell of ozone and burning were Shiro’s only sensations as the luminescent shine temporarily removed his vision.

Soon his sight returned, and with it, the his eyes were met with chaos, the lab in ruins, his professor a shadow of his former self, smouldering flesh hanged from polished white bones. Eye sockets emptied of their gooey contents by the radiation. It was then Shiro realised the generator was still running down, spewing the leftover radiation into the room. His next realisation was somewhat more startling, how was he still standing, and seemingly fine.

Steeping towards the turbine, placing a warm and adrenaline fuelled hand onto the cold steel, he could sense the radiation as it passed into him, welling up inside.

A resource.

A miracle.

A power.

I played gambit for a little bit once, but turned him more into his own gain, lol.

If you guys played villains more, then I'd actually play a hero for once though! God forbid!

(By the way, I know exactly what the villanous plan will be for Sunfire!)

I like playing a Secret Agent.

Especially since I know she'll become one of the most powerful characters later on!

In the meantime, I complete vilify one of Spider-Man's supporting cast, and no one has anything to say about it? I'm not one to fish for comments, but I just flipped Spidey's world upside-down!

Yeah, but it was because he resented all the attention Spider-Man received, even though his son, John Jameson, was a hero in his own right.

But JJJ's never been this bad. And I really believe I've given him a more reasonable motive to hate Spider-Man.

I mean, I'll level with you. I'm posting more in this RPG than any other...but that's simply because I have more inspiration here - what with evil Jonah and Arcade vs. Ms. Marvel.

But still, we've got to get other storylines underway...or we're doomed to fall into another slump. And I know no one wants that.

Everyone's been NPCing him relatively conservatively. When I read through posts, I didn't see much of huge difference between this Xavier and the normal one.

Which of course, makes your job easy because it allows you to have your fun with the character.
