Esposito has already played the same type of villain three times. With all do respect to him, I don't see why the idea of him playing Doom excites people when he's already played characters like Gus Fring, Moff Gideon and Stan Edgar.

And again, with all due respect, I don't want Doom introduced into the MCU at 65+ years old.

i picture Esposito as an calculating Norman Osborn. That or Mister Sinister. As an alternative he could be the voice of one of the cosmic beings, since he seems like a shakespearean actor to me. With a voice modulator perhaps as Galactus or one of Silver Surfer’s villains

No interest whatsoever in Esposito as Doom and with Krasinski all but confirmed as 616 Reed his age is all wrong for Doom.

Esposito as Xavier works IF they go the Rwandan route for him & Magneto. Patrick Stewart was 58 when he shot X-Men in '98. Esposito will be 66 if they start shooting MCU X-Men in 2024. Esposito was 36 during the Tutsi genocide. If they go that route for his and Magneto's backstory then he's one of the best choices really.

Hey what other info do you have on the rumored Disney Plus series? Because honest to God, Doom has such a rich, detailed origin story, I don’t see how the character could be done properly in a two hour (or so) movie, which he will be sharing with four other main characters…I would love to see his story fleshed out over a six episode format.

Honestly it's just been rumored...there may be no basis in reality for it other than Noah Hawley when working on the Doom Fox movie, a lot of people thought it could come to D+ plus what Howard Stern (if it was true that he meant a Doom project) and that it just makes sense...a lot of speculation at best but for me? Wishful and hopeful thinking

My main choice is still Mattias Schoenaerts


He's got everything needed. Piercing eyes. Dude can act circles around most people and he's tall so he can be face to face with Krasinski at 6'2". Also, his natural Belgian accent will transition well into whatever Latverian accent they decide on. He's also in that same age range as Krasinski & Segel.

I strongly agree that Doom needs the classic mask pre god emperor. Kind of like Iron Man mark 1 suit and then eventually upgrades to the modern look and then god emperor

If you want to say he looks like his #5 appearance but its been said he will have his cloak in the final version. I am just saying Doom's rumored debut in WF, matches up with all of the stuff about the general plot that has been seen in the trailer so unless they remove it, we will find out for sure what to expect at least in terms of his looks...will we hear any dialogue? who knows? but if
