I keep wanting to like the guy,but he keeps doing these type of moives. I thought he was gonna turn it around with JCVD as it was a pretty good movie for him. /Sigh first another Universal Soldier movie and now this I guess u gotta pay the bills.

He was shooting US3 and editing The Eagle Path. BUT...he still could have done the small role offered to him (Doplh accepted it and really, last time I read it's only 2 fight scenes against Jet Li)

And as for Universal Soldier 3. To keep it short. Van Damme had to do the movie, or he would have been sued. He left 'The Smashing Machine' after signing contract and when he realized he was getting...the short stick on it, he left, breach of contract. Funny thing is, Bruce Willis did that to the same producer not long afterwards with his movie. Van Damme did only 10-30 days for this new UinSol movie. The movie had like a 50 day shoot.
