They show the statue but it's not much of an Easter egg as the living Bor is in the movie.

No, they were talking about a scene where Bor supposedly kills Malekith's family. We get scenes from the old war in the movie.

Found a slight Easter Egg in the pics posted lastnight. The title Erik gives the concepts from Jane's book where Thor drew is the 616 universe upper right. Not only that, HEL is shown on the lower left

On this pic, I see Asgard, Alfheim, Vanaheim, Nidavellir, Earth (Midgard), Jotunheim, Hel and Svartalfheim.

Have I missed something? Where is Muspellheim? And if it isn't there on purpose - what could that purpose be?

There is a free branch at the mid bottom but there's just an equation there which certainly is strange. I guess there has to be something to it as I doubt they just forgot to draw one realm when they drew the tree correctly. Maybe just a little hint at the future.

Have I missed something? Where is Muspellheim? And if it isn't there on purpose - what could that purpose be?

Like what we're talking about in the new Nine Realms thread?
I'm guessing Muspelheim would be an extra area in the Hel quadrant along with Niffleheim.

If that's the case, then what would be the 9:th realm? There's only 8 in that picture and there's a free branch at the bottom, where Muspelheim would likely be placed.

And there's a fiery realm being shown in the portals.

Alfheim and Nidavellir are both in Selvig's drawing, so they can't be added. It is Muspelheim that's missing as there's an equation where it's name would be written.

That's the branch I'm talking bout, but I don't think both a realm and it's name fits under the hand, seeing the size of the others.

I doubt he is unaware of it. I mean, it's all existing Myth. Selvig knows them, since he said those were the tales he was told as a little child (and being Scandinavian helps a bit). AND they have the Nordic Myth for dummies book from part 1.
