They didn’t spoil Ego being the villain of Guardians 2.

Hope the twist isn't thatvthe deviants are actually good and they join together to fight the celestials. Would be way too similar to cap marvel.

I can't wait. This is what I have been waiting for. The eternals movie means we get more celestials. I love celestial stuff. When I saw Eson in GOTG I actually reacted in the theatre, my brother had no idea why I was so excited.

The one in the foreground has a head similar to Arishem the judge.
The other ones could be Hargen the measurer, Jemiah the analyzer or Gammenon the gatherer.
The blue one looks like Nezarr the calculator.

I know this is concept art. So I am hoping they stick to the kirby looking designs for the celestials like they did with Eson in GOTG. RIght now though I am really excited for this.

So I finally saw what the other characters look like from the comics. So they've gender bended three characters yet Sersei isn't in the film?

Looking at the casting breakdown from last year, it seems like Karen and Sersi could be the same character.

Karen The studio is looking to cast an actress in her early 30s for the role of “KAREN.” Open to any nationality or ethnicity particularly Middle Eastern, African and Native American. Powerful, a timeless quality, a leader. Warm, nurturing and intuitive… AKA she can kick- ass but had warmth. Should have an international/ timeless feel.

Sersi For the role of Sersi, the studio is looking for a female, 20-40. Sersi is a fourth generation member of the Eternals. She differs from her fellow Eternals in her desire to live amongst humans. She does not age and can only be killed if her atoms are scattered.

that is the design I like. It is pure Kirby, I hope they look like this. Either way I will still be happy to see more celestials.

If they are going to have those celestials standing tall imposing menacing in the movie like the comic image I have seen, it would be quite cool and awesome. Though it’s hard not to see how any remaining avengers not reacting not doing something (not that there is anything they can do) but in practice I don’t see how they could put any more characters (actors) in it.

Not sure about that. Marisa tomei and halle berry have starred in two of the biggest films this summer.

There were two prominent rumors regarding the Inhumans films that morphed into the delightful mini series we all fell in love with back in 2017. The first was a Game of Thrones style movie with palace intrigue, which was expertly turned into an ABC TV show by Scott Buck.

The second rumor, which may relate to Eternals, was that the Inhumans were Kree sleeper agents living among us, ready to be activated in the event of an invasion by the Kree empire. The Inhumans, having grown to love Earth and its residents, would turn against the invading army and defend their adopted homeland.

I'm wondering if this plot is being resurrected for the Eternals. They were deposited on Earth by the Celestials to assist in its eventual destruction. They rebel instead and decide instead to fight against the Space Gods

looks good, can't wait to see the cool art inside, hope to see some murals or carvings like in the first guardians movie when quill is stealing the power stone. The first run of eternals had some cool massive spreads. This looks like the art from the first issues. In the first season of Agents of SHIELD they went to an Incan pyramid and I always assumed it was the one from eternals 1.

Come on. We want Sersi. Unless Margo is Sersi, but I doubt it.

It’s pretty normal to have an entry level protagonist for movies like this. Basically someone who can say stuff like “what the hell is titanos” so the audience find out too.

I’m pretty sure as soon as they’ve established everything they’ll focus mainly on the big guns

The only thing giving me some hope is that "Karen" was described in the casting call as "timeless" and "a leader".

My point was that the guy was so useless and boring that Del Toro got rid of him in Hellboy 2.

To me making a regular human the protagonist of a movie full of superheroes seems kind of a dumb idea and a waste of screen time. I mean, what role would Margo play in the future of the MCU? All she can do is dig up old buildings.

Is the Gaiman/Romita Jr. Eternals story worth reading? I never read that one. I put the hard cover in my Amazon cart.
