I read through Iron Man 55 this past week. I'm impressed with simple types of details (panel by panel rundown of Stark suiting up for instance) and endearing character moments that can be found in some of these older comics that seem glossed over by today's standards.

I think it would be interesting to utilize a version of Drax synced to the ISAAC cpu beneath Titan. I know he's later a great counterpoint to Mar-Vell as well (not so sure about the less smart version that appears in Infinity Watch comics though). Moviewise, I suppose if Dave Bautista's Drax is killed off at some point he could be re-made by Kronos... It would be interesting to see Drax as The Destroyer.

To be fair, he has broken a lot of exclusives so whoever he is, he’s a big deal with some important sources

true that. It's the most logical ways to intro duce all the off shoot of humanity that were give powers by the celetials. since the Eterntal's have such a long life span & are Vurturally immortal they will & should try Neil Gaiman's run's next to what was done in the Jack Kirby days.

I totally understand what you're talking about the older comics. I miss those aspects a lot!

I'm all for the the first version of Drax; smart and incredibly powerful, a true destroyer! The second version, at least as powerful, was more of a childlike savage space Hulk. I honestly don't like this last version; smart but far less powerful, that was somewhat done in GotG. I find it to be too generic and not much of threat, as he should be.

I like Nicieza. To me he's the guy that made Deadpool a likeable character, not the hack that usually gets the credit.

thanks for getting back to me yes Fabian Nicieza is one of my fave writers and a good editor, the latter of which is even rarer at marvel especially these days cause man most of them ate only editors in name & it mess's up the books . I've been enjoying the my hero academia since it started and next to the Toru Aru Aka index & Railgun series and Darker then black and Asterix the phoenix festa battle city series . heh you can tell have thing for the super powered anime series Especially those that seem to have taken inspiration from marvel on some level and made this own spin with it that rival his work.

I'm looking at the video game of my hero academia that's coming west here and even have thread of it in the games section. it's coming west but I'm not sure on it I wish it was more in game story oriented instead of a versus match like most of the Gundam games. I know why they went the versus match rout. but I like where one piece world seeker is headed. thosue that seem to be mostly the strw hat's captain Loofy.

The story of ‘THE ETERNALS’ is set millions of years ago when the cosmic beings known as the Celestials genetically experimented on humans, creating the super-powered individuals as well as more villainous off-shoots known as Deviants. The two groups went on to battle each other throughout history to see which would eventually become the ultimate race. The story involves the love story between Ikaris, a man fueled by cosmic energy, and Sersi, who relishes moving amongst humans.

We are told that the script by Matthew and Ryan Firpo was more heavily influenced by Kirby’s 1976 work and will not only introduce the worlds of the Eternals and Deviants, but also connect to several existing characters, leave doors open for the introductions of any number of new ones and establish a deep history of the MCU.

and this is a good thing it'll introduce the Olympians and the God wars that Odin has had with the other gods of other countries next to Eternals before Zeus of the Olympians got him to stop when wanted to fight the Celetial's too. it's the birth of mutants and the mutates , & "the cross breeding" of Alien's of MCU and certain Demi gods too and other offshoots of humanity that have super powers like the lumerian's & Atlantis through genetic's. this is perfect lead into to every thing. I hope it's done right.

One character that this Eternals movie will connect to is obvious: Thanos! I really, really want to delve into his history and that of his family (brother Eros, father A'lars, mother Sui-San etc.) If it's set millions of years ago then obviously we won't actually see these characters, but some kind of connection or hint towards them would be awesome.

I feel like Marvel Studios could do a whole sub-saga within the MCU about the eternals and deviants that eventually leads the audience to Thanos. It would be kind of like Lucasfilm doing an old republic saga that tells the story of the ancient Jedi and Sith, eventually connecting the dots to Darth Sidious.

Recently we were fortunate enough to break the news that Marvel Studios had solidified its 2020 slate of films which would feature Black Widow and The Eternals. Thanks to a source with knowledge of the production, we now have Marvel Studios targeted start date for The Eternals. The Chloe Zhao-helmed film which Marvel Studios hopes will kick off a new franchise is tentatively scheduled to go into production in September of 2019. That start date puts the film on track for a November 6, 2020 release, right where we told you to expect it.

Interesting, if true.

The article also says that Marvel is looking to cast a "diverse" actress for the role of Sersi.
