Oh yeah, I forgot about him. It's kind of weird that they would leave out the two most popular (relatively speaking) Eternals.

But people are saying there are other characters in the movie that haven't been cast yet, so let's wait and see.

Heh, so I guess the "race & gender swapping hate brigade" is only for more well know characters. Henry, Madden, and Jolie are the only ones somewhat similar to the comic book versions of the characters.

Looking forward to this. I've liked the Eternals since I first became aware of them in the 80s when they had that 12 issue mini-series. Didn't know their history at the time...didn't know they were created by Kirby or even existed before that mini lol.

I've seen a few people complain about it on Twitter. Not in a "how dare they ruin Makkari" way though, more in a "oh noes Marvel is going woke" kind of way.

I find Kumail to be annoying and smug in everything I’ve seem him in. Hopefully he’s better in this. I’m honestly surprised Angelina is in this.

Lauren Ridloff, Teyonah Parris, Zoe Saldana, the women of Black Panther (Danai Guirira, Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong'o, Angela Bassett) and Tessa Thompson as the black actresses in the MCU. Sure many of us would like to see names like Naomie Harris, Kerry Washington and Taraji P. Henson in there, but there's still BP2 and the role of Storm.

Glad to see more Asians in the MCU, even if one of them is Kumail.

Hayek and Jolie are big gets for this movie, Angelina especially.

You know what, I'm willing to bet money that "Karen" is just Sersi in her human form. Why wouldn't the protagonist of the movie be Sersi?

And I'm kind of glad Jolie is not playing her. She would've been wrong for the role, in my opinion.

Tbh i think most identity politics arguments these days are done for clicks. I'm sure both sides informally work together to wind up people. I will write an article being outraged of something stupid. You do a blog being outraged at my outrage and watch everyone click away.

Yes but obviously they aren’t going to spoil if there is a twist and in these movies there’s always an inside man who is a traitor.

They didn’t spoil Ego being the villain of Guardians 2.

I've never gotten the impression that Sersi is so young. She certainly has never come across as someone who looks still in her 20s but has a more mature look.

I can't wait. This is what I have been waiting for. The eternals movie means we get more celestials. I love celestial stuff. When I saw Eson in GOTG I actually reacted in the theatre, my brother had no idea why I was so excited.

The one in the foreground has a head similar to Arishem the judge.
The other ones could be Hargen the measurer, Jemiah the analyzer or Gammenon the gatherer.
The blue one looks like Nezarr the calculator.

I know this is concept art. So I am hoping they stick to the kirby looking designs for the celestials like they did with Eson in GOTG. RIght now though I am really excited for this.
