From what I've been reading it's basically pg-13 with extra added CGI blood for the R rating.

i hope van damme doesn't die...

Not a problem for me; just have him play the characters secret twin brother in the 3rd film (hey, if there's any actor who they can get away with having a twin brother, it's Van Damme. t: - how many films did they do that for - about 5?). In fact, given that the Expendables kind of riffs on the actors known traits/past movies, I'd actually expect Jean Villain to have a twin brother.

As long as they call the character Luc-Alike Villain or something.

“We’ve approached Clint Eastwood to be one of the guys, we’ve got a character in mind for him. We’re talking to Harrison Ford. [And we want] Wesley Snipes when he comes back from prison. I’ll give you one more name, we’ve got Nicolas Cage to play [one of the characters],” he told Total Film. Yeah, good luck getting Eastwood and Ford, but we suppose a man can dream. As for Cage, we're not surprised since he seems to sign on to anything these days, and presuming Snipes' ego is humbled after his stint in jail, this is probably as good a project as any with which to get his mojo back.
