The Expendables 4

Cool! I'm not too fussed about another Expendables, if I'm being honest. I want a Rambo 6 though. The 4th on rounded things off nicely, but after the 5th, it all feels unfinished again.

If the Expendables franchise continues for decades, eventually it will be the cast of Fast & Furious in this. :o

I will never say no to a Dumb Fun Action fest that The Expendables brings to the table...let's GOOOooooooo.

I only liked the second one. The first was ok but Sly had a ridiculous goatee and Arnold and Bruce were just cameos. The second actually had a decent story and Arnold and Bruce had scenes in the final action sequence. The third was bloated even for this franchise and completely wasted Ford and Gibson.

Hey, that goatee needs to comeback!

I’m waiting for Sly to be Dom’s thought to be dead father.

We need Marvel's Expendables starring Terence Howard, Ed Norton, Emma Fuhrmann etc. :o

After watching The Suicide Squad I think James Gunn could work as a director for this movie.

He's has experience with large eclectic casts and over the top violence. Him and Stallone have also worked together.

Seconded.

Spin-off?

Judging by the title, Jason Statham is still in it. So if you have the two leads from Expendables Stallone and Statham, how could it be a spin-off? lol

Most likely they are in the opening action sequence and then hand off to another team?

Nic Cage as the villain! Get Kurt RUSSELL in there somewhere

Kurt Russell already turned Stallone down when he asked him to be in one of them.

‘'I know that many people on the site have asked for Kurt Russell. I asked for him too. Actually, I was taken aback when asked to put the request in a letter and send it to his agent. Subsequently, I was called back by the agent several days later after refusing to send a letter and he said Kurt Russell is not interested in ‘ensemble acting' at this time. So, people, I came, I saw, I failed".

Kurt Russell Rejects 'The Expendables'

"I’m glad Sly’s done well with this,” said Russell in an interview with IGN . “He’s a great person. The fellas all seem to have a good time. I’ve never seen any of them. It’s not a beat I get. It’s like looking backwards to me."

Kurt Russell rules himself out of an Expendables appearance

That was 12 years ago though. Maybe Kurt Russell has changed his mind since.

But why?

Career-wise he's still doing well. It would be only money for him at this point ala Bruce Willis. That's not to say he wouldn't work with Stallone on something, but it doesn't seem he's interested at all in revisiting 80s action hero mode.

Kurt Russell is not interested in ensemble acting at this time......and yet he's been in the Fast and Furious franchise.

Fine just give me a Tango and Cash sequel. The fact they were both in GotG 2 but didn’t share any scenes was a disappointment.

He had to let Stallone down easy.

True. But at least we got a Cliffhanger reunion.
