The Expendables 4

Replace Megan Fox with Scarlet Johansson, Sigourney Weaver or Milla Jovovich and we have a deal. Need badass women that can actually act for one, not mere eye candy.
So why did you mention Scarlet?

I guess with the whole Pandemic and the fact that the third expendables had it a bit rough...its not as easy throwing tons of Money at every big action/movie star to get them.

So you need to get a few cheaper actors and get rid of a few.

But still, 50 cent and Megan Fox are odd choices.

I would love to see Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa in the movie as Villian...that would be sweet.
Either way, i do look forward to who they cast in general and where this goes.

Fiddy has been in a couple of the Escape Plan movies so I'm guessing that's how he's in, and Megan Fox must have impressed in Rogue. :D:

This is basically an easy paycheck for actors who aren’t in the main leads. Come in for a couple days of work to give some exposition, get paid a few million.

Schwarzenegger returns for Expendables : A Christmas Story

Schwarzenegger has arrived in Budapest to shoot his scenes in the Scott Waugh-directed spin-off, ahead of a Winter commitment to Ivan Reitman’s “Twins” sequel.Hungary currently requires visitors to quarantine for 10-days, which is why the “Predator” star has arrived ahead of the October shoot dates.

Rumors suggesting Millennium changed their mind about doing a Statham-led spin-off and instead went back to doing a more traditional “Expendables” sequel aren’t true.

How is a Statham-led Expendables any different than a normal Expendables? Lol Stallone only in it for a cameo?

Wait what?! Stallone’s done filming already?! Didnt this just start like a week ago?

So…basically his character’s getting killed off it seems.

Anyone remember at the height of Expendables mania they were supposed to make a female led spinoff? That never happened.

These movies are such wasted potential, man. Kinda mildly dug the first one, but even that had all the dumb CG blood/fire and dollar-store-budget look to the thing.

Imagine these ****ers kicked this into gear and did it like circa 2003 or something, with an actual director at the helm and 200 mil to throw around. Could have been so bananas.

So many egos were floating around during that late 90s - early 00s era. Sly couldn't stand Arnie and vice versa. But yes, that would've been epic to see these guys all on screen in their prime.

You know they'd be *****ing about who has more screen time throughout the shoot though. lol

In this climate, Hollywood would probably love nothing more than to do some female-led spinoff of a property. Even if it ended up being a dud.

Pretty certain Sly & Arnold had buried the hatchet by the Governator years though. 2003 through later-00's, like Terminator 3-era Arnold & '08 Rambo Stallone, could have made something amazing out of this. Kinda never got how this concept landed at the feet of Lion's Gate or whoeverthe**** makes these, you'd figure not too long before the first one this idea would have been a license to print money.

Always felt like if it was a proper studio doing it, and they just rounded up McTiernan or even a lesser-but-competent action-movie-workhorse Renny Harlin type of dude, you'd have action heaven. The actual filmmaking in these things is monkey scrote, even on a dumb brainless fight-movie level.

Iko Uwais as the villain?

How's his English & acting?

The Raid's one thing, but like yeah. Throwing one of those guys in a western movie as the villain isn't some guarantee of awesomeness. All the fighting in these movies is basically ass anyway, you can have the best martial arts dude in the world, but if the director sucks (which they will, see the other three)...

I like Iko Uwais and he's a great martial artist, but unless Gareth Evans or Timo Tjahjanto are directing this I'm honestly not expecting him to be utilized that well at all, especially when it comes to the action.

I mean just look at how he was used in crap like Mile 22, Stuber or Snake Eyes. He deserves better than being the main villain of The Expendables 4 because he's a pretty solid actor IMO.

Just watch some his earlier work in films like Merantau or Head Shot.

The last movie bombed. I don't get why they're making this.
