They note that media analysts think that if Vince McMahon decided to sell his controlling stake in WWE, that a host of buyers would be waiting. They also note that the “attractive” WWE franchise could be of interest to Madison Square Garden or Comcast as the WWE Network is just starting to take hold.

I think the WWE Network really changed the WWE's game from a corporate standpoint, and I think every major media company in the world is paying attention. The infrastructure and processes behind designing, delivering and marketing the WWE Network is probably worth more right now than all the company's other assets combined.

I can see a lot of media companies looking to acquire WWE just to get their hands on the WWE Network infrastructure.

I remember being on wrestlingforum.com a few years ago and before RVD joined TNA there were lots of speculation of where he may go and there would be tons of posts&threads with most people praising him and wanting him to go to TNA or WWE very soon,Then a few months went by and RVD did an interview where he teased going to one of the two and then teased not wanting to go afterall
