Dr Doom: "I think the whole world should come to an end."

Sue(sarcastic): "Listen at Dr. Doom here."

Please! Where are the defenders of this movie at?!

I'm afraid to ask, but is that a line from the movie?

The line might have worked in 1995, and if the last name of the guy wasn't actually Doom! :loco:

It sounds awful, and I'm officially going to avoid this movie.

I think it's kind of amazing how consistently films made purely to maintain rights have been largely unsuccessful, primarily the attempts to get Spider-Man and Terminator reboots going, in addition to FFINO.

That is as bad as

I wish people on this board knew each other IRL so we could have an Incredibles viewing party this weekend.

Sounds about as bad as the Marco Polo line from the first FF movie from Fox. :loco:

I wasn't one of the folk relishing the thought of this being a disaster. I was hoping it would defy the odds and my own bad feeling about it all to end up a good film. And it is actually REALLY good... for about 40 minutes. Then it falls apart and ends up a hot mess. And I think a "near-miss" where you see the good film this could have been is MORE frustrating than just the turkey many were expecting. So disappointing.

Unfortunately, they probably cut this scene:

Sue and Reed are at the grocery store, there's a box of Cheerios Sue can't quite reach, so Reed grabs it.
SUE: Wow...you are just FANTASTIC, mister!

Lmao.

"I can't see, anyone got a light?"

johnny proceeds to flame on

"Well you're just a regular Human Torch aren't ya?"

For the love of god that doctor doom line is real? God help us all.

Everybody is saying this and all indications are the first half is Trank's and the second half is Fox's fix of Trank's film. Sounds like they should have skipped the reshoots and they might have at least had a watchable film.

Agreed. I've been saying for months now that I blame Fox for any faults this film may have... it appears I am more than justified in that.

Pretty much.

Wow, so Doom now has Annihilus' motivation. That's terrible.

I wonder if Fox will release the Josh Trank cut ? Since to be fair to the movie. The first half is getting good reviews
