Very good movie, I never saw it until recently. My (Jewish) girlfriend said I should see it so we bought it. It's kind of a strange musical but the story is great.

LOL, I love how it takes dating someone of a different background to finally be coereced into taking part in relative stuff. I never would have gained a slight appreciation of korean food had I not dated a chick.

Lol, it's true... Though she also made me watch RENT which was God-awful.. so her opinion isn't infallible.

I haven't seen this since I was a little kid...I think it's time I watched it again.

Tevye, just reading your 'location' text makes me want to see it again. I always would get that song stuck in my head, but in a good way where I didn't mind.

I always put Fiddler on the Roof up there with To Kill a Mockingbird and Casablanca as my favorite "classics"... the stuff that was around long before I was born. Of course... those and the ORIGINAL "King Kong". That movie is insane.
