Anton Yelchin, Anton Yelchin, and more Anton Yelchin.

Yelchin has already established a likability with summer audiences through Terminator Salvation and Star Trek (two films in which he had some of the more memorable moments). Charlie Bartlett essentially served as his audition for the role: an awkward, but razor sharp high school kid who could be convincing as a geek, but also confidently throw out quips.

He looks the part. Can act. He's a fresh face, yet still recognizable. Dude is perfect.

I don't know about that, but Logan seems to be the fan favorite, usually, the fan favorite never gets the role. We'll see (I'm kinda rooting for him), but I don't think Sony has any use for him. In less they're putting up a big front, they were BOLD and DIRECT about him NOT being on The List.

that really struck me as odd. you have young actors running off their mouth about the spidey role but sony seemed to go out of their way to shut down lerman. have they debunked anyone else?
