What if they had spidey swinging with MJ after a wedding? IDK where the hell they are planning on going with this series, but if this is indeed the last one, I say end it with a scene between the newlyweds....

I think it should be more like SM2... where the scene before when we see the symbiote bond with Eddie, leaving one to make up his or her own mind about what ensues... then a final scene, either MJ and Peter getting married, or Peter at Ben or Harry's grave, or something like that, then a shot just at the break of dawn, from the darkness into the light as he swings onto a skyscraper and then into the screen. Damn, I can see this in my head... my own cinematic brilliance gives me chills .

I think Spidey should be swinging as usually and then Venom (if he is introduced at the end) tackling Spidey out of the air or Spidey lands on a buliding then swings off but instead of following Spidey it shows us Venom sitting above where Spidey was grinning.

if venom survives, they should show him swinging through the city at night, then pan back to spiderman, standing ontop a building watching venom swing, then all a sudden, spiderman jumps off the building towards the camera like he's going after him.......... role credits,

Spidey doing the final swing carrying a beautiful woman (whichever one it is after the events of the film...) is a great idea. A good way to end the trilogy.

That could be be quite cool. Especially if they only reveal it at the end of the sequence. His head whips around to face the camera, revealing the true identity of the shadowy figure!

Seriously... with the ending I expect to SM3, I doubt we will get a ending swinging scene, by either Spidey or Venom.

Man... would that be anti-climatic for her death, and the impact it would have on Peter.

Let's see, possibly MJ might be killed, probably Harry will die... and some still expect Spidey/Peter to be webswinging away at the end... NOT me.

That would be a downer for me.

There will be some level of closure to everything that happens before the movie ends. MOst likely if this movie has a tragic ending, we will get another 10 or 15 minutes of a mourning stage of the story. We would see Peter going about his daily life in a depressed daze. Most likely we'll see him talking to Uncle Ben at his gravesite, and after he's done talking he will walk away, and then it will cutt to the final swing.

I honestly believe there will NEVER be a spider-man movie without a final swing.

I don't. And I hope your wrong... cause that would drastically take away from the impact of the only girl he's ever loved's death.

And if you think Harry may die at the end of SM3... it would really be a downer for Spider-Man/Peter to simply carry on (IMO).

I think the only way they would not do a final swing is if in the last scene peter is alone in his room contemplating whether or not to be spider-man anymore. but I don't know if they would repeat that. I think you probably wont feel that way when you see it.

Final scene... Graveside visit. *wipes away a tear... I can only imagine how good that COULD be.

i think spidey will be swingin in his red and blue costume since he got rid of the black one a few days earlier and you will see venom following slowly behind him...that would be sweet

The ending should have Spider-Man swinging like the previous films, but this time at night, and then after all is said and done, pan down to some rundown building and we can just make a dark form standing in the window, with two large, souless white eyes watching Spider-Man. And then just then, under the moon light we can make out an evil grin forming.

Or not.

I hope we only get a tease shot of Venom at the end... nothing more. That would be a great cliff hanger ending, and make it seem forever for SM4 to come out and give us some better looks at Venom... swinging and otherwise.
