I can't believe some people are actually up in arms because a sceen where Sabretooth is climbing something may or may not be in the final cut. One day when I am rich I will hire hookers so you may all get laid

IMO yes... It was way better on X3. Someone who watched with me said it looked like a doll, and I agree. The main problem is that he almost doesn't gesture, so it looks like a plastic Stewart

They should have just not de-aged him if it looks that bad.

I think it would have been best if they had just shown a shot from behind him facing Scott and Emma as they approach him. With Patrick Stewart doing the voice again it would have been obvious to the audience.

And for the record, the effects on X-3 sucked. It looked so weird...had that whole Uncanny Valley thing going on.

i am asking myself why have a scene like that if you dont want to spend money on teh effect. why not really show him form behind.

I think the de aging in The Last Stand was good, and could be considered groundbreaking

yeah even i must admit that this was really good.
did you know that it was dont almost everything by hand? they painted out frame by frame wrinkles. then they added tons of glow on top of it to hide the problematic areas. they spend hours and hours .
its only used for short scenes.i think they said it would be to expensive to do this for a 2 hour movie.

Cool. I never got into the specifics of the process, just remembered from back then how they described it as "mix of make up and CGI", and a nomination was a possibility... It was impressive on screen.

yes i know alot of us dont care about critics but for the people who saw the leaked version, this kinda goes with what we said....

I thought it would end up in the 50's but if it ends up in the 40's then wow I do hope Fox execs and the producers see that they can make a way better movie.
