I like the costume, it just really doesn't make much sense for The Flash to have a costume like that. It should be more aerodynamic, to help not hinder his speed. I guess my main problem is that the suit itself looks heavy to wear, and isn't really skintight. it shouldn't be leather, it should be lyra or spandex more akin to what ski racers, lungers, speed skaters even cyclists wear. Want it to look cool? Use a similar material they used for TASM with spidey's outfit. (I know its a tv show, but people were able to replicate it from home).

That pic above is much better in terms of colour too, though I don't really have a problem with the curren darker pallete they've gone for.

I've seen many say why isn't more aerodynamic? My question does he need to be? If you really thought about it isnt the answer clear since the law of physics really don't apply to him due to his protective aura. If flash were a real person his suit would just need to be functional allowing to move his body freely as well as some protection against the elements.

Flash's suit isn't Versace, it's about as basic as you can get in a Superhero suit. Which is why its a classic look.

The suit in question looks boring because it lacks texture. Nothing about it stands out or catches my eye. We can do (and have done) better.

I've seen the 1994 Fantastic Four, the 1990 Captain America, Howard The Duck, but not even I could sit through this ****...

I saw that pic of the costumes one day and just could not believe they were designed for a TV show. No offense to whoever designed it, but Martian Manhunter especially looked like a Cosplay - how you feel about the Flash, I feel similarly about MMH.

At least this is much better than that style.

Default is not fine, it's not even red. I wonder how many people would like Superman with a dark green and red suit on. That's Super-XmasMan not Superman. I'm sorry I will watch the show and support it but the costume is a turd.

Dude, there's a whole lot of difference between blue and green compared to different shades of red.

In color theory, a tint is the mixture of a color with white, which increases lightness, and a shade is the mixture of a color with black, which reduces lightness. A tone is produced either by mixing with gray, or by both tinting and shading. Mixing a color with any neutral color, including black and white, reduces the chroma, or colorfulness, while the hue remains unchanged.



In no way is that a "shade" of red. I said dark green as it too has blue elements in the color the same as this current color has red elements. The current dye job on his costume is more Sienna or Brick color. It has elements of yellow and blue in that dye job to make that color.

^ Yeah, that is definitely the best cowl one. Great job. I liked the suit when I first saw it (and still do), but all these manips are saying to me 'they could make it even better.'

Just some minor changes and the suit would be great, IMO. Whoever changed the background of the symbol from red to white, wow, minor change but makes all the difference.

Hmm I've never been in one so I guess it could have neoprene carpet.. Probably gets bodily fluids out a lot easier. I'll differ to your experience in this matter then.
