Never thought I'd see the ring tbh, actually makes me excited for this version. I like Ezra as an actor but he hasn't delivered a good Flash performance. Which isnt necessarily his fault.

Me, earlier: I bet if I type in “Flash ring” on Twitter, one of the first results will be a Snyder fanboy *****ing that the ring is something their lord and savior would have NEVER included with his iteration of the character.

Well… let’s just say I owe myself some money.

Actually Snyder much like how he did with Aquaman only had temporary costumes for Flash and Aquaman and left the final design for their suits to their respective directors for their movies as he stated many times before.

It seems very difficult to predict at this moment what will do in the visual of the CGI composition of the final costume, but I can bet it will be very similar to this, plus very exotic textures and the effect of yellow rays moving in various parts:

Very curious to know if it’s CG for the whole film. Muschietti took a pic of the emblem for his Instagram, I wonder if that was just, what… a prop?

It’s probably CGI when he’s either in some sort of action that requires it or maybe when it comes from the ring? If he’s just standing around talking, it maybe practical.

I'm sure it's just the bad quality/angle, but that really looks like some sort of creature. With Muschietti directing, I am expecting some sorta horror element to this.

I bet the Flash costume will look similar to the Red Ranger costume from the last Power Rangers movie, because of the nuanced texture never seen before and another superhero movie or series.

The fake abs do look odd in the shot, but I dig the costume overall.
Honestly though, I feel like I’m one of the few that didn’t hate his JL look. I would have been fine with just a less bulky version of that.

This is the absolute worst. The proportions are off, the materials used seem cheap despite the elaborate texture work, the helmet looks horrible, it’s again so over designed the ensemble is clunky and worst of all feels completely pointless. I never thought I would miss the god awful Snyder costume but here we are. I hope it looks better in motion and with some CGI touch ups but I’m not holding my breath.

This should really be a case study of what not to do in superhero costume design.

What I find frustrating is Flash's costume should be so damn easy to get right, it's a suit that's basically begging to just get the Spider-Man treatment and instead we get a mess of armor plates in JL and whatever the hell this is for this movie.
