I hope that things are cleaned up with Linda. She doesn't deserve to be jerked around constantly. Hopefully she'll still be a recurring character in season 2.

Gotta admit, I'm not the biggest fan of how they're going about doing the romance between Barry and Iris. At least have them both be "technically" single before having them act on their feelings for each other. I've never been keen on the idea of a couple getting together as a result of cheating on someone else, especially when the people that they're cheating on are good people.

I mean Linda and Eddie come off as good people and their insecurities are actually well placed. Barry and Iris are the only ones that really come off as the bad ones in this scenario.

Yeah if you're not going to have it stick, and if you're going to retcon in in the NEXT episode, then DON'T DO IT AT ALL!! Don't jerk the audience around. If you do it, stick with it. And quite honestly, as good as this season has been, the whole "no one besides Joe is suspicious of Wells, even though they really should be" thing has been my biggest issue with it thus far.

If I had to guess, Barry tells everyone about his time travel incident, which puts Cisco and Wells attention on that. Solves Cisco's death. Barry tells Iris he knows that she thinks about him and Eddie sees that. Solves Eddie's anger. I don't think he'll reveal to her that he's the Flash...yet.

Yep, Cisco's attention being drawn away from investigating Wells definitely sounds like the way to go to avoid his death.

Harrison Wells not only revealing he's the Reverse Flash but Eobard Thawne! And killing Cisco during what was possibly one of the best acted scenes in the show, if not the entire series? Definitely did not see that one coming.

We got Iris admitting that she actually is in love with Barry, their first kiss, and, to top off, him revealing he's the Flash all at once!

And on top of that, the first instance where Barry travels back in time...which even though will probably negate almost everything that happened in this episode, except at least Barry remembers it. Again, fantastic episode!

It was great, but then you remember there is time travel on the show. So no one or anything is set in stone now. Everything that happened tonight will be turned back. So this was a big what if episode. It was still good to see everything. Who knows maybe only a couple things can be turned back and one major thing will still happen. Perhaps it has to do with altering the timeline too much. I am trying to be vague for your convenience.

But, this episode and the balls of this show will make it pay off. I trust them, they have yet to prove me wrong.

But for us (the audience), there's a lot that ISN'T going to be turned back or reversed since what we learned tonight will remain true, despite the fact that Barry will likely rectify several things. The story still advanced tonight, no matter which way you look at it.

Right. Because Barry went back in time to point before he got to the morgue and to Mark Marten/Weather Wizard's first victim. And by doing so, based on how his past self seemed to disappear and then Barry took his place at that very moment in time, that means everything which happened after that moment is gone. Which means the police captain is okay. Cisco is still alive. Joe doesn't have a busted leg. Kaitlin didn't see Well's empty wheelchair. And Iris hasn't admitted she's in love with Barry (yet) and doesn't know he's the Flash. However, Barry will retain all the memories of that previous timeline--including Iris' true feelings for him.
