I'm personally fine with a Hunter Solomon/Eobard Thawne hybrid

Not understanding the freaking out about Vibe... He's said like 5 things.

5 poorly delivered lines. The level of acting that I've seen from the dude in both the trailer and his arrow appearance is like that of one from a low budgeted cartoon network live action show/made for tv film

He wasn't great in the Arrow appearance, but I think it's just because those two cameos were awkwardly done.

There was NOTHING wrong with him in the trailer.

Nothing wrong for you. To me he was the one thing that stuck out the most in the Trailer.

The only difference I see between him and anyone else besides Gustin, Amell, and Martin is that he said "dude."

We are just starting to get to know these characters. Let's see a couple episodes before this person and that person is terrible.

I'm not going to freak out about Vibe. We've only seen him in a cameo, that probably didn't have much thought put into it, and this trailer that was just released.he hasn't impressed me but I wouldn't consider him horrible. Keep in mind that this trailer only had scenes from the pilot as well. There will be plenty of time for the character and the actor to develop. I remember how wooden Amnell was in the earlier episodes of Arrow.

I wouldn't worry about Vibe. He probably won't be around long...

So people have finally found the thing they want to complain about I see.

Really glad we chose who's gonna be this shows "Laurel" before the pilot even aired.

So awesome to be a comic fan this day and age. Never been much of a DC guy but I'm hooked on Arrow and I'm sure this will have me excited for every episode as well. Hopefully this goes well and the feel they can venture deeper into the DC/CW universe. It will be cool since FOX has Gotham and the young Batman universe, NBC has Constantine, and CW has Arrow/Flash. From that exec's comments the other day about having as many diverse separate universes as possible I hope there isn't too much hoarding of certain characters to a specific franchise. Not saying I want the Joker to show up or anything but since it's all separate it gives them tons of flexibility and they would be wise to use it, just make sure it's spread out when needed

DC is going to be a bigger part of my life in a few months.

Looks like there a good chance Zoom won't be from the future, at least not the 25th century. Dissapointing but it makes sense. Developing a character that's separated from the main cast by a few hundred years would be difficult. Plenty of people are still confused by Lost. And that had a much bigger budget than Flash will likely have. Actually, the two timelines in Arrow probably drain resources as well. My guess is Zoom we'll probably share more history with Hunter Zolomon than his actual comic counter part.

How's this guarantee he won't be from the future? I really hope he is. I'm fine with him getting a job where Barry works to keep an eye on him or whatever.

So, this is going to be a typical 42 minute pilot episode right or is this gonna be longer? I ask cuz it looks they put A TON of stuff into this pilot. Barry's origin, his coma, discovering his powers, the suit, the weather wizard...I have faith that they found a way to pace it all but it seems like a lot for a 42 minute episode.

Would like to have aliases of hero interactions.
I.E.
Pre ring Hal Jordan
Ray Palmer visit to Star Labs
Ralph Dibney consult on a case
I doubt we see anything of Gotham on CW with Fox doing there show

All in all, great time to be a comic book nerd
I know I detest reality TV

I don't see it as a guarantee either, if anything everything I've heard about Thawne makes it seem more likely he's from the future, or at least his future self is influencing his life to constantly one up Barry.

It's not a guarantee, but it is likely. My guess is he isn't Zoom yet. Something will happen through out the series that makes him hate Barry so he goes on his usual psychotic journey to make Barry's life suck. It was also stated that "everything sort of goes well for him." My guess is his future self is helping him out and that present Eddie will actually be a nice guy.

Funny. I took the "everything goes well for him" part as part of his disguise; who would suspect the cool nice guy down at your job as being secretly evil? That sort of thing. Basically him pretending, not actually being from the present having a great life...but we'll see I guess.

I have no reason to doubt Thawne is from the future, I bet they will keep that part of his story intact for the show
