I wanted the monster to be real. And I found the kid annoying.

Thankfully the story with HR isn't another dude who's all-out evil... for now.

Less *****ey Draco would be nice.

Given how the Caitlin Snow version of KF has always been played up as kind of sympathetic in the comics, and she's joining the JLA soon in Rebirth, and how show Caitlin has been characterizes thus far, I really hope that they don't go full-on "psychotic villain" with her.

that's my hope as well justcause one version of her which she met went bad doesn't mean she has to go down the same path plus there other ladys that ook on the name killer frost. I'd love it for Caitlin to go hero even if she went bad for but I hope it's the misunderstood rout and she doesn't kill any one. that when she's hero and any of the other killer frost show up to try and try to frame frame her.

Liked this one. "Villain" stuff was pretty crap, but it did give us some good character development. Mainly for Julian. They better not pull the same twist bull**** again this year with him. I don't want him to be Alchemy or any kind of metahuman villain. Just want him to be who he says he is.

Actually liked HR. Cavanagh seems to be having a lot of fun with this new one. Look forward to seeing him hopefully turn into an important part of the team.

Killer Frost build up has been

Killer Frost trying to be a hero two, but having to constantly struggle to try and control her powers and not kill anyone (because it is a lethal power if you're not extremely careful) could be interesting to see.

it's why I want the flash show to have something for helping meta's if there's a prison for bad villain meta's , there should a place for meta's that are good people and just ether want to control their powers or need help if it's sorta killing them or others around and they need a cure like that ageing dude last season that had super strength got old as side effect.

and the best way for meta's that aren't criminal's to learn to control their power's or find cure's if it's some how harming or ther issues's would to have what was inthe DC lore already it's called the Center for Paranormal Studies

^^there's the link
Which researched and helped meta humans. tthere was one in metropolis inthe DCAU.

it should be a branch of Star labs in their live action series as better way help certain meta's that don't care to commit crimes just learn to control their powers . and maybe see some of the other known meta human as various student of varying age groups like teen's to university / grad school

dc already created this in tv media already via the animated series of superman to JLU. even though it's similar to X-men minus the X-men.

after all they showed they can't be all villains.

just make this an extension of starlabs and at least it'll take care of alot of other issues too like how are they paying the dang bill's writers have been avoiding. it's simple solution to something they refuse to have answers for . and there shouldn't be that in the first place when they can have simple answers in the show. which til this date they haven't said how the bills are paid for that lab any more .

I thought this was a really good episode. The stuff with catlien and her powers was great. The wells twist was great and funny has I thought he really was going to be bad type of wells again. The end with Barry and the guy who he works with and dosnt like ways great. Loved there whole conviersations and how he opened up to Barry. So far this season is better then season 2 was at the same point in time.

Completely agree. I've been seeing comments all over about how this season hasn't been that good and I don't get it. I think it's starting out much stronger than season 2 did. And I really liked season 2.

This episode was definitely in Caitlin Snow favor, her journey towards becoming Killer Frost is going to be a slow burn effect of her letting her emotions overrule her.

As for the main story subplot of the Monster terrorizing central city turning out to be fake was slightly different than the weekly metahuman incursion .

HR revealed to be a Con-Man is an amusing plot as it gives Tom Cavanagh more room to play the comedic side of his acting chops.

Julians background was meh, I think this is a red-harien, I don't buy tptb casting this actor in a mediocre role, I suspect Julian has a bigger role that will be explored as the season unfold.

With the Monster being fake, this would've been the perfect episode to let Iris save the day. Let her investigate this and find out the truth. She's a reporter she should be all about getting the story.

Red herring.

I'm guessing he's Alchemy.

I like the idea of Barry temporarily being Cisko's roommate.

You get a talk about infractions, and immediately you exit work. Brilliant work Mr. Allen.

"The Flash made the police lethargic" ~ Julian
That is one of the things I fear would happen if a superhero existed in real life, dependency and sloppiness from others. Well done writers, well done.

I don't think Barry needed to run fast to save his colleague, he was standing right next to him.

Lex Luthor has said Superman makes humans weak because they depend on him in the comics as well.

Tom Cavanagh is a joy. I thought I'd hate "HR" but I found him enjoyable for the most part.

I liked this episode and I thought it was pretty interesting that they just made the villain a hologram. Definitely a nice twist.

Good to finally get more of Julian and I really hope he's not Alchemy.

I wish they stop dragging the killer frost tease ..AND DO SOMETHING WITH HER..

I thought the episode was mostly filler, though I found HR hysterical , and I like the idea of him basically being a con man and bs artist . I also like Malfoy's arc, so all and all it was better than alot of their filler episodes.

That's delightful too, but it sounds better when it comes from someone who is not an antagonist.

I really liked how they handled Caitlin's ongoing story arc. She's getting some great material. It's going to be interesting to see how she struggles to control her powers and her dark side. It'll be cool if she turns out to be a heroic version of Killer Frost. She could be a real asset to Team Flash in the field if they go up against new enemies who are vulnerable to ice and cold.

Yeah, the show has really recovered after a truly awful start to season 3.

That's what happens when you have 23 episodes a season; plots get dragged out. I think Caitlin's subplot is moving at a decent pace, all things considered.

The pacing of her arc is just right. Don't rush it and let things develop. Weave it through other story arcs until it finally just explodes out of her. And make it a mess. But bring her back from the brink in the end. As for Julian, it's nice to hear the reasoning behind his animosity. Basically all selfish reasons, but that's the same with all of us. He's trying to redefine his life, all the while Barry just breezes through everything.

Because Barry doesn't remember how they first met, I wonder how they were at the start.

Really good episode, I liked the cgi of the monster, the Caitlin storyline was interesting and her powers are kickass, Barry's talk with Julian in the end was very well put together, I liked the acting in that scene a lot, and the new Wells is just plain gold, I enjoy the hell out of him.
