That and shes bossing around everyone including barry where the only leader should be barry like oliver with his team. Im trying to get past this nonsense but it really is stupid and even more infuriating given how great this show started season 1 til now.

Can' say I'm surprised that Iris' first go didn't go that well. Heck, it took a lot of time for Barry to learn how to phase, partially from Wells' teachings. But Barry isn't Wells and there's no way Iris can be around Barry's level at the end of even Season 1 in just a day.

Hate to break it to you but Barry has never been the leader in this show. And Grant is playing Barry, who is sad that his powers are gone.

But just going by this episode, it seems like whoever is running coms/staying behind is "leader".

Well the show is called the flash first of all not iris and friends with a cameo from the flash. Second how many times is barry going to loose his powers before that subplot gets stale? Third barry was team leader in season 2 against zoom for most of the season and even started out that season working all on his own. This is lazy writing plain and simple and this episode clearly demonstrates how she is way out of her league with or without powers.

This is not a dig at candice as she is awesome as a person and more geared at the character.

He might've lost his powers all of once? but it certainly isnt an ongoing thing. I'm rewatching S2 right now and he isn't really barking that many orders around. It is very much a team effort with Wells helping out a lot.

Hes lost his 3-4 times now including tonight. Not barking orders but clearly the leader with like you said wells helping because he has info on zoom. When barry preached caution that season woth trusting jay or zoom the team listened to him.

Worst episode of this entire series and this show can shove it for shoving Iris down our throats. The character has no true point, so what do they do, give her super powers. Everything with her is forced man. What a joke. Not to be cold, but I would absolutely LOVE if her character got killed off.

To anyone else annoyed with Iris being shoved down our throats, and are biting their tongues to post polite here, you aren't alone. Even my own mother just texted me saying "did the show get renamed to Iris"?
