Oh yeah... It's nothing that should be held against him. However, I have to wonder if his opinion would be different if he were headlining WrestleMania's?

It shouldn't be held against him, and it's the smart way to look at life, but at the same time if a guy looks at it like that then I don't think they're someone build a company around and make into THE guy.

Don't get me wrong, it shouldn't be used to hold them down either, but a wrestling company needs to invest lots of time and money in someone to turn them into a real star, and if they're not in it for the long haul they can't be upset when they're not turned into a Cena/Orton/HHH/Austin/ect. If a guys talking about going to do movies or something in 5 years you can use him in main events and properly utilize them, but don't make them the face of your company.

Nope.

I actually prefer when guys have the mentality that they love wrestling but don't want to be defined by it.

Guys who have nothing in their life but wrestling are the ones who hang on for WAY too long, end up broken down, or in some cases end up dead.

I want to see MORE guys know when it's time to hang it up and go about doing other things with their lives before it's too late.

Its good to leave when you've done all you can and give the next guy a chance...instead of hanging on well past your prime taking up a top spot

I hate to think about whose head he'll be licking.

Waltman clears up his statement from last night...

Many thought he was saying that it was a shoot, and that HHH was taking over. Today he clarified his comments with the following…

"To clarify my tweet last night. Raw last night was real on a symbolic level.

Im going to post a video explaining my thoughts on RAW and my twitter comments."

Yeah there's no way HHH is actually taking over for real. He will one day but not any time soon. Vince be leaving orders to be followed even after he's dead.

So basically you get back what you put in.

when morrison returns he needs to turn it up a bit hbk said it best when describing morrison

he said he is a sweetheart and such a nice guy and that is his problem he is too nice he does'nt give off that edge, might let people walk over him or wont speak up to avoid an argument.

a more aggressive hands on Morrison would be welcome

When did HBK talk about Morrison?

Last night's post-Money in the Bank episode of WWE RAW scored a 3.2 cable rating with 4.83 million viewers. This week's show did hours of 3.15 and 3.29. This is up from last week's 2.9 rating.

Yep. It's a two way street. If you don't see yourself devoting yourself long term to the company, don't complain if the company won't throw it's full promotional power behind you. I think that's fair.

Problems should only arise when guys DO have a willingness to give themselves over long term to the company, and then get nothing back.... or when the company hands them the world then they just leave them high and dry suddenly *coughLesnarcough*

I can defenitely agree with that. It's like any other job, and of course just because you are loyal and work hard doesn't guarantee that you are meeting the requirements they need.

At night's Smackdown taping, Daniel Bryan announced that he will be cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase at WWE Wrestlemania 28.

If he's employed that long.

Very interesting. There's definitely enough time to build him up before they get to that point. A possibly somewhat weak WHT match won't be an issue when you have Cena v. Rock, the Streak match, and probably something big with Punk (still optimistic that won't be fumbled lol) to bring in all of the buys. Whatever it ends up being can't be more underwhelming than Edge v. Del Rio.

Don't want to start a war in here by sounding like I'm tying everything to relate everything to Punk, but Bryan Danielson has a chance to possibly headline Wrestlemania? Call me nuts but the Punk angle began this feeling that the "PG era" was coming to an end. Follow that up with Vince being kicked out. Add in Bryan Danielson winning MITB and announcing he's going to cash in at Mania. Sure as hell sounds like a new era to me!

...then again he might end up swerving us, cashing in a month from now, and losing, but I'm taking the optimistic viewpoint here lol.

oh he will he has friends in high places aka regal and hbk and wwe has been dying for a new technical wrestler since angle left and benot died

Yes I did... but it's not stupid. It's not the only reason I got annoyed with him though... Just added more fuel to my fire. Orton is a complete *****e to anyone that isn't... Well, him. The whole CM Punk thing is only the biggest thing in wrestling in a long while to the point where it's being shown OUTSIDE of WWE TV and he said he didn't see or hear anything about it? Right.

Punk himself admitted to not getting along very well with Orton... no shocker there... So, of course Orton hasn't "paid attention" to whats going on with Punk..

He was the world champ of the "B" show because he'll never be top dog on Raw or the "face" of the company. Once he became champ SmackDown ratings dropped... Not a shocker, he's Cena 2.0 on the show. Once CM Punk full returns I wouldn't be shocked if he becomes the #1 face of the company... Cena will probably still hang in there and be his Rock to Punks Stone Cold.

...Orton will be shifted to #3.... and I'm sure he'll throw a fit or poop in someones bag for it.

Actually, as all recall reading it, Punk only had a problem with Orton until a few years ago. And if you bothered to actually listen to the orton radio interview, he mentions that he knows punk personally.

Your post is clearly clouded by bias against orton and for punk. Personally, I dont give a damn how Orton acts as he's clearly lightened up, and hes clearly doing something right and deserves his place in the main event. And I wouldnt say being #3 in a company lacking stars is some kind of bad demotion if what you say pans out.

X-Pac has said some really nice things about Bryan too. Seems like alot of Hunter's friends llke Bryan.

Not only does he seem to have Kliq support, but someone mentioned Regal is going to push for Bryan. Triple H loves Regal almost as much as he loves HBK and Flair, Regal was one of his first mentors, and HHH has been behind all of Regal's big pushes like when he was King of the Ring and GM simultaneously.

I also think Triple H just likes guys like Bryan. He respected the hell out of Benoit so much so that I don't think he went over Benoit even once during their feud. He was also supposedly a huge fan of Eddie. Bryan probably reminds HHH of those guys some which can only help him.

Fanboy moment of the night:

Okay, so a little backstory first. At work, we keep track of the highest sales for the week. To help motivate the employees to sell lots of ****, the manager went out and bought a WWE Championship belt, and at the end of the week, whoever has the highest sales gets to put their name on the belt, and customize it.

This is what I ended up doing with the belt at work tonight:

Also, fantasy booking time:

If I were booking in WWE, this is how I'd handle the WWE Championship leading up to Wrestlemania.

Personally, I'd save Miz v. Mysterio for SummerSlam. But that's not going to happen. But I guess since we're doing fantasy booking here, it doesn't matter.

I would have The Miz win the WWE Championship. I think I counted that we have about 8 months until Wrestlemania. A little over 8 months. Miz would hold the belt for about 4-6 months, after which time CM Punk would make his return. Punk and Miz would feud over who is the "real" champion, which would ultimately lead to a unification title match. Punk would win, and "unify" the WWE Championship, hopefully bringing about a new belt design as well. I think this feud would work because Miz and Punk are antithesis of each other. I think it would be an interesting feud, that Punk would win, and become the undisputed champion.

After becoming the undisputed champion, Triple H would make a return, citing the remarks CM Punk made about him and his family as reason for wanting retribution. This feud would build up towards a match at Wrestlemania. The match would be a title match, and would have CM Punk winning against Triple H at Wrestlemania. John Cena v. The Rock would be non-title.

As far as Money in the Bank and Alberto Del Rio goes, he'd hold onto Money in the Bank. Del Rio simply isn't bigger than anything that would involve Punk, so he'd hold onto Money in the Bank at least through Wrestlemania.

What happens post Wrestlemania, I don't know, but through Wrestlemania, I'd have Punk taking time off, only to come back, defeat Miz to become undisputed champion, and then retain against Triple H at Wrestlemania.

A Miz/Punk fued could work, especially to solidify Punk's face turn. I think the two could pull off some pretty great matches, and it's fresh.

Now, HHH losing to Punk for the gold at Mania? ....That's TOO much fantasy in your fantasy booking, Nell.;)

If Punk continues to take off, then I could see HHH putting Punk over at Mania. He put Big Dave and Cena over.
