A numbers of people in a faction should not exceed the number of titles available.

The reason most factions fail these days is because they're mostly used as a means to get ONE guy over.

The reason groups like The Horsemen, DX, and Evolution worked was because each member had individual goals. It wasn't just about keeping the world title on their top guy.

And they could have done that with the SES if they wanted to. They could have had Punk go for a world title, Gallows and Mercury go for the tag titles or add another member to team with Mercury while Gallows went for the US or IC title, and have Serena go for the divas title. They could have had a thing go where they wanted to make the titles more straight edge as well or something similar, maybe even introducing new looks to the belts since most of them are currently disliked. But that whole stable went to hell.

Exactly, anytime I think back to what started Ted DiBiase Jr's down fall it always goes back to Legacy. Ted when he debuted showed promise and had potential but the way Legacy was handled destroyed him to the point that he couldn't recover unless he has a major overall like Cody did.

Wonder what the deal with Kane is. First he talks about getting his balls back, then acts like a little girl in the ring.

I hope with a change in the wwe we see more of...

Agreed. I'm not even saying I want him to have a big push or even an actual storyline. I'd just like this particular active employee to be more than a cameo.

There hasn't been a decent long term stable in WWE since Evolution. I can't believe I'm saying it but I think even the Main Event Mafia and The Beautiful People in TNA were better stables than Legacy and the SES...and arguably even The Nexus. But thats debatable though. MEM looked strong...in some terrible pointless storylines. Nexus had one of the most awesome debuts EVER but the thing just whimpered out withered and died.

I think Wylie is right. with a good stable the whole group shoould look good even if the main objective is to to protect the top guy. Sure HHH was UBER protected by Evolution but Batista, Orton, and Flair got some scraps; good tag and IC title runs and some long term dominance.

With recent stables most of them get fed to the top guys in conveyor belt fashion. They're nothing but fodder. After Cena beat Barrett and buried him in chairs Nexus was more or less neutered except for a brief shot in the arm when Punk took power. Then it was right back ti being irrelevant.

There's a clause in his contract that states he can never have a good storyline. Even if something starts out good they have to ruin it after two to three weeks tops.

On some level you can tell Austin is still a fan and he loves the business and to watch it as such. Whole most of the other guys his age or past him are in it to look out for themselves and to make money. Since Austin has taken himself out as a regular performer and saved his money he can just sit back and not have to worry about that and enjoy the show.

He always seems keen for the business to grow, he often talks about wanting to see his records passed the way he passed Hogan's.

As for Cena it depends on how the whole WWE title tournament goes. I would think Del Rio would challenge Cena for the title at some point but since he no longer has it. Maybe the roles could be reversed and Del Rio could cash in on Rey and set up Cena vs Del Rio or Cena vs Rey vs Del Rio.

That triple threat seems about the best solution, I know it's not great but with the way WWE are booking bigger things long term it may have to do, shame Summerslam has came just a bit to soon to capitalize on the good stuff.

With Smackdown it seems like they are setting Henry up to be the top heel there for the near future. But a heel Henry challenging a heel Christian isn't WWE's usual MO. Maybe they'll just insert Mizzark into the Christian/Orton feud because quite frankly as god as their matches are its gettign kind of stale. If they are going to keep it going they need some fresh blood injected.

Another triple threat on the card might be a bit much but in truth I can't see a single face option for Christian to face unless Jericho makes a surprise return. I supposed they could turn the Raw match into a 4 way and add The Miz.

I am once again pretty pumped for tonights Raw. Two weeks in a row... impressive.

Me too. I'm very interested in seeing how they handle Triple H being the new boss. But if he starts cutting a shoot and looking down on the entire lockerroom again then...........yeah.

Well, this is interesting:

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson via Twitter:

"Cena fans: pls stop tweeting me to stop being "mean" to John. If u think I'm mean now, just wait til Survivor Series in NYC."

That is interesting. Also :lmao: if fans are actually using the word ''mean''

It's because they're probably about 8 years old.

Rock should tweet back: "Cena's a punk, Santa Claus is just your parents and there really IS a monster living under your bed."

The business growing is good for everybody. Hoping to keep the next generation down hurts everybody in the long term. A shame Hogan couldn't see that.

I'm just sick of Rey vs Del Rio. As long as its not ONLY those two I'll give just a bout any option they have a chance.

I think their options are limited either way they cut it unless they want to turn Christian face but I don't see that happening. But thats what happens when you wait til the last minute to build anyone up for a quick fix solution.

I'm sick of Rey period and the 619 annoys the hell out of me so I just kind of tune out whenever he is on.

While anything can change as he was advertised for last week's show, several readers have noted that CM Punk is being advertised to appear at tonight's Raw show in Hamptons, NJ.

I hope he isn't there, just Triple H talking about him and possibly how he plans to get him back works in my opinion. Besides he's doing a fine enough job keeping his presence felt without actually being on the show.

IF he is there I'd like him to be there simply as a paid fan that for once doesn't get involved ala John Cena.
