The Gun Thread

Finally got that angled foregrip for my M4. Haven't taken it out to shoot with it on yet, but looking forward to it.

Also, my local gun shop has a Mosin M91 for sale. $120.00 I know that they were widely manufactured, hence lower prices, but I'm curious if anyone here has any experience with them, and if so, what they might be able to tell me about them.

You guys have any good websites for ammo? I'm looking for some .22 and all of my local shops are picked clean. Iv been told CCI Stinger rounds are best for my pistol.

Also, I decided to go with a Walther P22 over the Walther PPK/S. ill post some pics later.

Also give Aguila Super Max ammo a try as well. It's cheaper than CCI and shoots a lot better.

I have a friend who owns a Mosin. The ammo for it is really cheap and very corrosive, so you'll have to clean the rifle every time you take it out. It's very accurate and kicks like a mule.

Newest acquisition. Red Jacket ZK-22.

LOL Thanks. I can't wait to take it to the range.

Yeah I didn't know if the mag size was by state or if it was a Gov. law now. Well thats awesome man, great gun.

I have a Glock 17 Gen4....nothing as impressive as that haha. I do have a 30 round mag though..but I live in FL...we can do whatever we want in FL...we are pretty much Cuba

im glad i live in a state where there are little restrictions. i know they recently made a 55 and 75 drum mag for the Marlin 795... i hope to pick those up in the future, as well as some s5 round mags for my Mossberg 702

yesterday, was able to pick up a Mossberg 702 and a Marlin 795 at a gun show... great little plinkers for what they're worth. even got a nice used scope for a good price. currently, I own a Mossberg 715T (going to be selling it, soon), a Ruger GP100 357 magnum (man, that gun was a doozy at the range), a Marlin model 60 (that one was so fun to shoot at the range), the Marlin 702, and the Mossberg 795. will post pictures when i can

beautiful piece of artwork... is that a pro mag?

Red Jacket Firearms ZK-22 stock for the Ruger 10/22. I pre-ordered it last April and it finally arrived Friday night. I'll complain forever about their customer service, but they do great work and it's a beautiful piece of work.

My dad and I are going to be going to a local gun show in two weeks and I'm thinking of adding something to the collection.

.357. It's not a Colt Python and frankly I won't spend $1300 for a pistol. This is a Taurus .357. I want to channel my inner Rick Grimes. haha I'd actually prefer it in .44, but I'll take either.

A SCAR-H in .22LR

If I can find an AK reasonably priced I may go that route as well. It all depends on what vendors have and price. I may even look at an AK-47 .22LR too. .22 ammo is still pretty cheap right now and I don't feel like blowing through my .223 or if I get a real AK having to wait to buy 7.62.

I'm leaning towards the Revolver if they have it there.

good lord that's a long barrel

6 1/2 inches. haha Definitely not for conceal carry. I like that it's a 7 round cylinder too.

you know, i was considering the Ruger 327 magnum for a time (also had a 7 rd cylinder), but i found out that the availability for the ammo was very scarce, so i went for the 357 instead

I'll probably stick with the .357 as well because it should be able to take .38 special, so I can switch them out if need be.
If I get it, I hope I can find 7 round speed loaders.

Lol, oh man, I went out to the range with the 357, and the first bullets I loaded into that thing were .357 ... Good lord, that thing was LOUD. So loud, it's making me question if I want this thing in my home or car. Before I consider it, though, I'm gonna try .38 special. The person I talked to said that the .38 special is a much better round to use, and has a little less recoil... From what he says...

I would imagine firing it in your car or in your home if you needed it for defense would make everyone deaf.

Harrisburg gun show this weekend. I got 1K in cash to take a long. If I don't get anything, I may use the 1K as a down payment on the IWI Tavor that is going to finally be available in the US.

I read Hasbro instead of Harrisburg, and I tougth the gun was a toy...

It looks fun as hell.

Kable, what do you think about the possibilities of 3D printed guns?

I don't know. I think in the future it has a place. I like the idea of 3D printed magazine more than a lower receiver. Although, in the industry printing lowers would be beneficial and probably cheaper for small caliber rifles like the .22lr and the lower will last longer with the smaller caliber than the higher caliber rounds.

HAHA Yeah, no toy guns for me. I prefer the real thing.
