That's very weird. So the trailer music isn't Zimmer. Even though they made a big deal about getting him to do music for it, and on a deadline.
However, I'm actually kind of glad, because it's pretty generic

I feel like the website music is just going to be a portion of the score for a specific scene, but it doesn't sound like the theme music.

The website music is a demo mock-up. Take that for what it's worth. Probably just something in the very early stages, and something we won't hear in the movie, at least in its current state

Same. If there's a way to hear at least the main theme, I'll def give it a listen. I'd rather wait to hear the rest while watching the movie.

All I care about right now is the main theme. That's one of the few scores of a film that can be listened to out of context before seeing the final product.

^ I'm too very anxious to hear the new spidey theme! I actually think he'll have an easier time pulling this one off than he did with the new superman theme (which was great in a more humble way, yet still not being as memorable as the original theme though. Didn't have to be. It was GOOD)

We're so lucky that Zimmer is doing Spidey! So happy thinking about it

I hope the theme is a revamped version of the TASM1 theme. Kind of what we heard in the SDCC footage.

This. I loved that simple change to the catchy TASM1 score. I've listened to TASM score way too many times now, but have become so attached to it, that i'd be missing it in a big way if there wasn't at least some kind of resemblance in this one!

I just don't want this to end up like the X-Men films that have no signature theme to the series. The theme song for TASM1 is great, but it was the rest of the score that was lacking IMO.

Zimmer should keep the theme, make it his own, and add his own original music to the rest of the film IMO.

Tbh, I'm already fixed on the theme on the site being the new main theme. I can see myself getting used to it. If true, then that should be the continuing theme of the series.

The ASM theme is without a doubt the best theme we've gotten since the classic Superman theme. If I met Horner right now, I'd probably kiss him.

I should correct myself. I don't think the rest of the score is lacking, I just thing the score could have been better during some of the action sequences.

I LOVE the score when Peter is entering Oscorp for the first time and he is looking at Norman's silhouette. Or when Peter and Gwen kiss on the rooftop.

Yeah, the Peter/Gwen theme is incredible. Sucks that we'll probably never get to hear it again in future movies, though.
