The music in the trailer was pretty dope. I want to hear more of that theme when Electro appears.

I can understand that it's a pretty bold move that's certainly going to divide opinions. It tends to happen when you try something new and memorable.

Good point. It's an interesting way of approaching the character, if nothing else. It reminds me of the Prince of Egypt soundtrack (my FAVORITE from Zimmer), the song when the plagues start falling on Egypt. The way it slowly builds up with the whispered mumbling... really similar.

I knew it reminded me of something! It really does sound like that! And that soundtrack is also my favorite from Zimmer. t:

Man, if Zimmer on this film channels at least a fraction of the Zimmer that made The Prince of Egypt soundtrack, I will be ecstatic!

I love that we're getting so much creative input going into this score/soundtrack. Not only do we have one of the best film composers in HZ, but we really do have the "supergroup" with all incredible, talented, genius-in-their-own-way musicians, which surely all are contributing some form of input/ideas into the mix. And of course Webb knows his music as well... I've just never seen this much of a collaborative effort going into 1 single film. I think it's gonna offer so much diversity, freshness, unprecedented originality to the music

edit: case in point -- Pharrel apparently wrote 'Paranoia' --- something we may never have gotten without him creative input in the film.. Something I'm sure the other guys are adding to as well

I hope so. Cause I actually loved each and every piece of music from it. And throw in on top of that the slow, piano rendition of HZ's 'triumphant' horn-blasting theme (which I'm still on the fence about - though I love when it's played on piano) and we have what's shaping up to be one of the best soundtracks ever
