speaking of Zimmer, I just watched "12 years a slave" great great movie but Zimmer's theme on it was almost exactly the same as "time" from Inception

I certainly don't envy the life of a blockbuster music composer - every project has to sound entirely unique. Rock bands can change slowly over time, but still manage to be very consistent in their sound, even sounding the same to most audiences with each consecutive album.

I remember when the soundtrack released for the Phantom Menace and one of the tracks was called Qui Gon Jinn's Funeral. Don't be surprised if there is a track called Gwen's Funeral or something similar. Gah, that would suck. Talk about spoilers, man. I guess it's best to just avoid it, if you can.

Your right I just checked and there was a track called "The funeral of Qui-Gon". Yep definitely best to try and avoid the soundtrack if you don't want to be spoiled.

Oh man, that is horrible! That said, the track titles for ASM were pretty revealing too. I'm certain it will be the case for TASM2.

Yeah, but to be fair none of those titles revealed anything the promo material hadn't shown already. Either that or they're well-known events in the Spidey lore. I love checking out track titles beforehand, makes the film seem more... ominous.

I really like the sound of that, as for track titles I'd want Zimmer to pull a Batman Begins and name all the track titles after types of Spiders.

I did a topic on Discrimination against the Elderly in my country. It's not really that prominent actually, but I managed to have an interview with an elderly lady in my neighbourhood. I did a Photo Essay on her story and used Rooftop Kiss as my second track. The first was Smile by Charlie Chaplin

I had a grade D for that particular module at first, but I got a B+ because of that very project!

Good choice of the track.It brings out the emotions whenever they are required in the context.

As far as I know it's never been said why Horner didn't come back.

I think he was just hired for TASM1 without contract, and sony figured they can try and get someone better.

It's like they changed everyone else so why not the composer too. They hired new writers, cinematographer, costume designer, editors, etc. IMO, they changed how they wanted to approach the filmmaking process so the end result would have a different feel and overall tone than the first film.

Its funny but this movie really does look like its going to have a completely different feel from TASM1.
