I'm stretching I know... I just love the Horner theme!!

i remember when i commented on youtube that i didn't think the comic con horner theme variant music was composed by zimmer. i said i doubted he had even recorded a single note (whenever i see behind the scenes stuff, they are always scoring it as the movie plays on a projection screen - it's something that happens after a lot of other post production work has happened, such as editing and fx work).

got chewed out by commenters at the time.

I watched Despicable Me 2 the other day and paid particular attention to the music composed by Pharrell. They're all pretty cool. I like the funk rhythms and the melodies. I wonder if we'll get similar sounding tracks in ASM2 like this:

Whatever it is we are getting, I think we are all going to love it. TASM2 better turn out well, because it has everything right going for it. A great composer, better writers, a great cast, story, and this is leading up to a Spider-Man cinematic universe.

Its so cool to be able to recognize parts of NYC in the movie (even other than Times Square). The date scene was filmed in Union Square, which isn't too far from me. Sadly I wasn't around that day to watch them film.

^ I could imagine that planting a very familiar feel with New Yorkers. I'm glad they shot it all in NY, but halfly disappointed none was shot here at Sony haha.

But if the film feels huge in terms of environment and openness, then I'm not gonna complain a single bit.
