I'm working on my list of films for this Halloween's 31 days of Horror film fest. Anyone else do this?
I don't go out of my way to make a list of which movies I'm gonna watch on which day, but I do make a point of watching at least one horror (or at least Halloween themed) movie per day during the month of October. I also like to spend my time shopping for new/previously owned horror DVDs to add to my collection. So while its not my official list of horror movies to watch, here's a list of what I most likely be watching all October long:
John Carpenter's Halloween: Extended Edition
John Carpenter's Halloween 2
Halloween H20 (actually, these three I usually watch ON Halloween, everything else I'll watch with no real set schedule)
Friday The 13th Parts 1 through 8
Jason Goes To Hell
Jason X
Freddy vs Jason
A Nightmare On Elm Street Parts 1 through 4 (Part 4 is where the franchise nukes the proverbial fridge, though I think the fuse was lit in Part 3)
Jaws
Piranha 3D
Stephen King's IT
John Carpenter's The Thing
Sleepaway Camp
Return To Sleepaway Camp
Knight Chills
The Silo Killer
Night Train To Terror
The Simpsons Treehouse Of Horror V - VIII
Disney's Adventures Of Ichabod Crane & Mr Toad
Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow
Stephen King's The Dead Zone
Scooby Doo & The Wrestlemania Mystery
Wrestlemaniac
Tim Burton's Sweeny Todd
8mm
Scary Movie 1 through 4
When A Stranger Calls (the original, not the remake)
The Plague
Army Of Darkness
Buffy The Vampire Slayer: The Movie
Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Once More With Feeling
His Name Was Jason
Doctor Horrible's Sing Along
Stephen King's Dream Catcher
I also have Season 1 of Angel, all 7 seasons of Buffy, and the first 5 seasons of Supernatural on hand.
Well, that's pretty much my entire horror/Halloween themed DVD collection right there. It may grow some over the next 2 months. I doubt I'll get hem all in during the month of October, even if I watch 2 or 3 a night. But I'll give it my best shot.
