It wasn't scary in the slightest, it felt like it was a children's halloween film except it was rated R for some reason. It had good cinematography though

Trick R Treat sucked

Trick 'r Treat is amazing, it's not about been an out and out scary film it's about celebrating the holiday that is Halloween.

Oh you know, just several people having their throats ripped out and such, child murder. The usual Charlie Brown stuff.

But that's what I meant, without those things the film feels like an R.L Stine TV movie, it felt so jarring.

Has anybody seen The Gallows? My brother wants to see it but I think it will be a waste of time and money. Plus the reviews have been pretty bad.

Saw the trailer a couple of days ago, it looks pretty bad. Also, again with the hand-held camera? It's become a horrid staple of the horror genre.

That's what I thought too. Oh well. As long as my brother pays for the tickets then I'm game. It will be a free movie.

I saw it, it was pretty bad. And it was so short that I didn't think it was worth it. Usual cheap scares, too. Pretty much what you'd expect:shrug:

Okay Grandpa

I'd love to see what you think is a solid horror film that's been produced over the last 10 years. Conjuring and Insidious are the only examples that can compare with greats such as Halloween, Psycho, etc.
