fwiw, i have not given up on Farscape, last month's show. i started season 2 today.

just to get some discussion flowing, has anyone gone back and continued and of the shows after their month has passed? has anyone not finished any shows?

  • January 2015 - Fringe
    finished 3 seasons
  • February 2015 - Game of Thrones
    finished all 5 season
  • March 2015 - Firefly
    finished show, started reading comics
  • April 2015 - Bates Motel
    have not finished season 1
  • May 2015 - Hemlock Grove
    haven't started yet lol
  • June 2015 - Nikita
    almost finished with season 1
  • July 2015 - Bitten
finished season 2, would considering continuing show
  • August 2015 - Farscape
    started season 2 today
  • September 2015 - Twin Peaks
    haven't started yet

I didn't do Fringe with the club but I've seen most of that show, at least 4 seasons. Not sure if I made it to S5. I will one day because I did generally like it. Had already seen Game of Thrones, Firefly and Nikita in their entirety. Was never able to make it all the way through S1 of Bates Motel, and had zero interest in Hemlock Grove and Bitten. Farscape's the only one I watched with the club that I hadn't seen before, and we all know how quickly I tore through that whole show, lol.

so basically, flickchick is werewolfist

I went back to finish up Fringe the month that we did Game of Thrones. Now I'm going to get back into Farscape once I'm done with Wolverine and the X-Men and Sleeper Cell because Twin Peaks isn't my thing. It all depends on what show comes up for me. If it's a show I like I'll stick to it the whole month if I can. If not I'll go back to another show I didn't finish but liked, or other shows I've been meaning to catch up to in general.

Yup, pretty much. Hated the werewolves in True Blood, too, and I only enjoyed Oz in Buffy was when he wasn't the focus of an episode. I firmly believe werewolves make for *****y TV subjects. Now, if someday a werewolf show comes out that actually gets good reviews, I'll give it a chance. But that has yet to happen as far as I'm aware, so I avoid them at all costs.

It's totally not because I'm a vampire. That would be ridiculous. :ninja:

im not too keen on werewolves as opposed to other supernatural beings, but Bitten did have some creative ways of going about the mythos. maybe logical is a better word to use.

i wouldn't be against watching teen wolf though, cuz there are some mighty handsome werewolves on that show according to promo photos i've seen, and unless it's been taken down, its probably still in my netflix queue

I find it racist that my people, werewolves, are being discriminated against in this very thread. Just when you think that being nice to every monster will pay off you get stabbed in the back. That's cool though since we're regenerative. We haven't taken over tv shows yet because we were too busy high fiving ourselves for how awesome American Werewolf in London and The Howling turned out. One of these days my people will rise up and make a bad ass tv show with good kung-fu fighting and cats fast as lightning.

October's show is going to be Marco Polo. Here is the thread to the show.

This is perfect for me because it's a short show, and during October that's what I prefer since I'm planning on watching a horror movie each day to celebrate the Halloween season. This won't cut into my plans there, plus it does give us all a chance to watch it, see what we like, and then catch up on any other shows we haven't finished yet. *cough* Farscape *cough*

Oy vey. I know I've said it before, but y'all need a better list, lol.

Death stare all you want. Once you see the show, you'll see my point. I mean, it's nice to look at, and from what I've heard about Hemlock Grove, probably not as bad as that. That's pretty much the nicest I can be about it. Even as short as it is, I never made it through the whole season.

i think next year we will maybe add one or more people to the list of people recommending shows?

i still think i want to suggest pulling Buffy off this list altogether and making it it's own event.
Buffy is 7 seasons, Angel 5. We could make that last a year lol

Just quoting this to show how much of a horrible person you are, and why babies are crying everywhere.

I suck so bad at participating in this on the forum.

But the next month's show is:

Graceland
