The "I Can't stand that song" thread

Oh, and does anybody really like Chris Daughtry?
I mean, really...

thats not my name! I hear it all the time on radio one..........

Any song by Rush, ugh, I hate that band! They must have song their soul to the devil to get so much airplay on Chicago radio stations.

I can't stand Michael Buble, for some reason. He comes off as a total wannabe.

"Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" by Green Day

"Bad Day" by Daniel Powter

"That Smell" Lynrd Skynrd

"The Way I Am" by Ingrid Michaelson

Anything by Coldplay

Hey! I agree with most of your list...
But you better have some damn respect for Coldplay! Now!
:D

Rapture's No Sex for Ben.

It just gets stuck in my head so easy.

WTF! It is the greatest rock song ever recorded.

I like "Stairway to Heaven", but I certainly wouldn't go so far as to say that.

Anyway, music I can't stand:

- Anything by The Red Hot Chili Peppers (Especially Dani California)
- Anything by U2
- Anything by Gwen Stefani
- The rap genre (Attempts at crossing rap with rock music have led to me attempting to get to the "Skip track" button as quick as possible.)
- Anything by Bruce Springsteen (Sorry, but I find his music generic sounding and boring. :csad:)
- Anything by The Misfits or Danzig
- Anything by Dragonforce
- The pop genre
- The "Yeah!" album by Def Leppard

Now for individual songs:

- "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. If I ever hear it again, it'll be too damned soon.
- "All Summer Long" by Kid Rock. Not only does he take from other sources to make his song (From Warren Zevon and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Meanwhile, I've seen his fans praise him for originality. Right. :whatever:), but he does a crappy job of it and adds his pathetic redneck pride lyrics to it, along with a music video that would only be good if his speedboat exploded.
- "Woman" by Wolfmother. So irritating.
- Metallica's covers of "Astronomy" and "Veteran of the Psychic Wars" (Originally by Blue Öyster Cult). They butchered them, in my opinion.
- Britney Spears' cover of "I Love Rock and Roll". It's essentially an insult to rock for an emptyheaded pop singer to sing about loving a genre she seems to know nothing about, especially to pop-sounding background music. I've recently heard she did a Rolling Stones song, too, which makes it worse.

TOtally.
It is baffling, that he is so popular.
Even in horrible songs, or in horrible bands, I can find one cool thing...one aspect that at least gives me a clue as to how morons can like this garbage.
But there is nothing there with B.S.
His constipated singing, about bland, boring-ass topics, with 100% predictable (in a boring way) chord progressions, played by a bunch of competent musicians.
STFW ?

:wow: Whoa, I didn't expect any agreement with that one. I usually keep my mouth shut on Springsteen because I get the feeling I'll be jumped on if I express a distaste for his music, but I really, really can't stand listening to it. Especially "Pink Cadillac".

Um I went to a "the Boss" concert with my family and guys, it was dumb. First of all, the E Street Band sucks. As a band and as individual people, they are not good. Second, I'm all for Bush bashing, but you should also manage to be about something other than hating one guy. After every song he had to say something about how lame George Bush is like his entire musical career amounts to nothing more than that message. He got on stage like an hour and a half late and kept the geezer rock party going for like nine hours. Straight up, he also looks exactly like Jim Belushi. When I would look at the screen while he was belting out his folk rock jams I literally got that feeling of nasea you get when According to Jim accidentally airs on your TV.

I like a couple Springsteen songs
"I'm on fire" and "Hungry Heart" come to mind
