Some details about the reunion special:

Smith will be joined by “Fresh Prince” series regulars Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, Daphne Maxwell Reid and Alfonso Ribeiro, as well as recurring cast member DJ Jazzy Jeff, “for a funny and heartfelt night full of music, dancing, and special surprise guests, in honor of the series that ran for six seasons and 148 episodes,” according to HBO Max and Smith’s production company, Westbrook Media.

The special is set to tape Sept. 10, 30 years to the day from when “Fresh Prince” premiered on NBC, and take a look back “at the series and the cultural impact the series has had since its debut.”

The “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” reunion will launch on HBO Max “around Thanksgiving.” But if you need a way to kill time until then, the WarnerMedia-owned streaming service has all six seasons of “Fresh Prince” available now.

The unscripted event will be directed by Marcus Raboy (“Laugh Aid,” “Whitney Cummings: Can I Touch It?”) and executive produced by Rikki Hughes, who will serve as showrunner, as well as Miguel Melendez, Lukas Kaiser, and Brad Haugen for Westbrook Media.

Laura knocked out the power and internet to my house for a few days but I'm back. Hopefully we don't have any other disruptions like that. There is a lot of cleaning up to do after that. Trees are down all over the place.

This Laura sounds very rude. Ingraham level in my eyes.

Glad to hear you're back and made it through the other side.

When engaging in raccoon guerilla warfare, wear appropriate footwear to disguise your tracks. Hoof-print shoes are a good entry level solution:

hey all. sorry i've been MIA the past week or so. work has been kicking my butt. my car was broken into monday night and i've been a little under the weather. not covid, just bad sinuses from working in a freezer in the middle of 100+ heat index days.

i worked 200 hours last month so i am off yesterday to sunday with pay, and double pay on monday if i want to work. otherwise, i can be off with regular pay. i'll more than likely work for the double pay and just put it ahead towards some bills.
i slept in until noon yesterday and after i stopped guilt-tripping myself over it, i went and got some stuff for the house, and ordered some online.
got a bunch of mulch to redo the front yard, a new faceplate for the bathroom switches, a bulb to replace one that burnt out and some paint to paint the downstairs bathroom. i also intend to paint the upstairs bathroom trim and cabinet so ive already started putting painters tape up in the two bathrooms.

all my laundry and bed linens are washed, every room in the house is vacuumed except for the bedrooms, all the dishes done, bills paid. so i feel accomplished finally lol.
tonight was going to be a girls night in with two of my closest friends, but we've had to reschedule, so i will probably cut my back yard, maybe the front too, and put together a movie rack i've been putting off.

finished cutting the front and back yard. man. it literally takes me twice as long to cut my front yard than my back. when facing my house, my neighbor to the left has a completely different type of grass and over many years i'm sure, it's slowly started to overtake the left side of my yard. that side kicks my butt every single time. but i finished.

So big enough for a push mower or riding mower?

Oh my. As someone who's family owned just a push mower and had two yards and a vacant lot, you have my sympathies.
I’m pretty lucky I suppose. I have a decent sized yard. I can cut my backyard in about 15 minutes. It takes at least 30 to cut the front

What are you looking for?

Time waster? Serious lit? Franchise fun? Non-Fiction?

Can never go wrong with Neal Stephenson's Baroque Cycle books for heavy stuff with cinematic aspects.

I have a feeling in a few short years the Wild Cards series will be adapted, so now is a good time to get your geek bona fides by being able to say, "Yeah... the show/movie was okay, but it was different in the books..."

For comedy... The John Hodgman books Areas Of My Expertise, More Information Than You Require and That Is All are nerdy fun.
