I will never understand how or why so many mainstream entertainment projects/movies/shows go for lowest common denominator sex appeal material when actual porn exists and is widely available, nor where they get their audiences in the first place, again for the same reason.

I mean, I get why such things rely on sex... But I don't "get it".

Like as a teen, ironically or not dudes legit were watching "Baywatch".

And even then, pre-Internet ubiquity of porn I still was like... "Why?"

They want you to get horny over actress A. But... You ain't getting what you really want from actress A in this thing. So... Why are you gonna give any time to this thing? The one aspect you are going to see whatever it is? It isn't actually in the movie ladies and fellas.

If I want bottom of the barrel production values, bad jokes and a reliance on stories where impossibly hot "regular girls next door" and/or "unattainable fantasy women" are ritually humiliated before the narrative forces them to give in to the sexual cohercion of some child in a man's body... I will literally watch porn.

So had a run in with a Karen recently. The whole nine yards. Making a fool of herself (she apparently cannot read) and being rude, demanding without understanding what she is saying, not allowing me to explain anything and topping it off with a "I will speak to your manager" type threat before hanging up on me. I was alone so there was no one for her to complain to.

Not one person above me is going to give two ****s what she was whining about and yet it still pissed me off dealing with her. If anything I would be told I was in the right, she was wrong and that would be it but we have more important issues to deal with than Karen so no one is going to even bother with her "complaint" anyways.
