I like the flash thompson guess. Or maybe what his name. That friend of Peter's who went crazy? The one with the blue eyes and the stocking mask? Anyway, the crazy eyes make me think of : Ameicop, US Agent, Solo, and especially, Fool Killer. Um, Fool Killer 4. Or 5.

My most "logical" (that means obvious) contribution to the group guessing is it is someone without super powers. That helps the case for Frank Castle.

Maybe one of the book's supporting characters, not a hero at all. Or someone with real tell-tale powers.

Maybe it's Foggy Nelson, who's been recovering from his death by working out. Wait. Crazy? A gun? It's Nomad!

hmmm it could be the former U.S. Agent after his falling out with the goverment he may be trying to get rid of cap so he can take up the mantel again it cant be nomad cause Winter Soldier killed him in the Winter Soldier story arc in Captian America, NO WAIT I KNOW WHO IT IS IT'S.....HARRY OSBORN back from the dead like his pappy to get Peter mmmmmwaaaaaahhhhhaaaaaahhhhhaaaaa...because you know there can only be one goblin at a time and all...... or not what ever its gonna be one hell of a anticapated revalation when they show who it is.

Can't be the thing because A. Thing's head is bigger than that and you'd see rocky area's around the eyes, B. he had just left with Sue and Johnny in a cab in the same issue I believe, and C. you can see it's a human hand holding that gun on the cover where Spidey's being attacked. As for Johnny he hasn't but honestly not sure. He was injured then suddenly fine, he left with Sue and was using his flame abilities as an umbrella, on the other hand there was a blond man floating in a vat by the Thor clone and Reed was looking at him, which could either be Cap or Torch (with Reed giving him better care, meaning that the other Johnny could be a clone...possibly).

Don't think anyone else has lost their powers, but half the super powered hero's in MU are locked in a prison in the negative zone for the rest of their lives, or CW ends, whichever comes first .

As for U.S. Agent, I've seen the pics of him jumping out of a copter and confronting some ppl, was in black and white, anyone have the link? At any rate I doubt it's him as he apparently still is wearing his costume and shows up elsewhere doing something else. I still hold out that it's Punisher, let's put it this way the majority of this board thought DD was Ironfist and it was, the majority of the board thought Goliath would die and he did, the majority thought it wasn't the real Thor and it wasn't, and now the majority think it's Punisher and the boards haven't been wrong thus far (well majority of the boards on guessing CW events).

Except, why would Thor use a gun? I still say Punisher, as to why the mask it's been said before, suspense. Having the mask on leads to posts like this of guessing, and if we saw his face off the bat there wouldn't be the big payoff when we find out it is him. They can make up a number of reasons why, from ducking the pro's since his face is recognizable, to whatever. To me I just can't see Thor, Hawkeye, J.J or any of the other candidates using a gun, I can't see why deadpool would be stocking Cap and wearing a different outfit, and Punisher is the obvious choice since it's a guy wearing black, a trench coat, and wielding a gun in a series of easily guessed surprises.

Thor wouldn't use a gun.

However, since there's absolutely nothing in Civil War 4 that suggests 'Ski Mask Man' is holding a gun... it's still a viable option.

I've been saying it's the Col. Blake from the CW1 direcor's cut. He works for SHIELD (hence the gun) "DB" hasn't been seen for awhile, and it is know that Don Blake is going to return, makes sense to me, and they wouldn't HAVE to show Thor, just reintroduce Don Blake.

Just looking at the guy in the mask made me think that, reading the boards only supported my thoughts. I could be wrong, but I'll say it's atleast NOT these guys -

Like I said I think it's Col. Don Blake with SHIELD, I didn't say Thor.
I read somewhere that Thor won't actually appear until his own series after CW, but, it doesn't say Don Blake isn't going to be in it.
If this is Blake, he's probably seeing what each camp is doing, and calculating what he needs to do. you don't just rush into a battle without a plan.

How do you think The Punisher, assuming he is "The Ski Mask", will reintroduce himself to the Marvel universe? I think it will go like this...

Punisher watches on TV as super villans hunt down Superheros and get rewarded by SHIELD. Just as he is about to go to hunt his latest quarry, SHIELD soldiers bust into the Punisher's hideout searching for Anti-Regs. The Punisher grab what little weapons and ammo he can and left. SHIELD soldier reported back to base about their discovery, Maria and Tony stare at each other confused. They wonder which superhero would stockpile weapons...
