i thought the world gave up on Terminator when John Connor was held captive in a vet office.

Watching Star Trek III now. Haven't seen it in over 15 years or more... I am sorry but this is an awesome movie, great characterization and humor and action. It proves that odd numbered Trek film theory is just malarkey.

I liked Christopher Lloyd's goofy portrayal as Commander Kruge, he was sooooooooo unlike other aggressive, rowdy, fierce, Klingons, especially his voice, LOL.

When you think about it the Klingons in Trek 3 are the basis of all the Klingons that came after. Sure, the ridges and some of the look in the first Trek film carried over, but the designs of ships, the uniforms, the characterization of the Klingon culture were all established in Trek 3 and then embellished in Next Gen.

I sort of have a soft spot for the campy Klingons of the original series. No ridges on the forehead, no over aggression as present day Klingons, & none of the weaponry.

I just did a rewatch of TOS and Kor and Kang are actually very formidable characters. Sure, they are villains but not incompetent ones. Kang's intro is super badass in DAY OF THE DOVE. He basically just walks up to Kirk and punches him. Kor is super cool in the episode that establishes the Organian peace treaty. Both are a match for Kirk and are presented as such. Still... My fave Klingon is Worf. He has a a lot of development in Next Gen, which I am currently doing a rewatch of. The episode where he just beams over to Duras' ship and straight up challenges him for the death of Kahlar in combat is such a bad ass moment.

Did you ever see the STDS9 episode BLOOD OATH where the old Kor (John Colicos), Kang (Michael Ansara), and Koloth (William Campbell) come and get Dax (Terry Ferrel) to join them in an old mission of revenge? It was great seeing the old actors reprising their Original Star Trek roles in the updated makeup.

That was a freakin' killer episode. It's amazing watching DS9 and how good those episodes hold up even to this day. Dax and Kira are still some of the strongest female characters in televised science fiction, IMO.

How do you solve a riddle like this?
I want the method to solve it, not the answer.

Albert & Bernard just become friends with Cheryl
They went to know when her birthday is
Cheryl gave them a list of 10 possible dates

May 15, May 16, May 19
June 17, June 18
July 14, July 16
August 14, August 15, August 17

Cheryl then tells Albert and Bernard separately the month and the day of her birthday respectively

Albert: I don't know when Cheryl's birthday is, but I know Bernard doesn't know either
Bernard: At first I didn't know when Cheryl's birthday is, but I know now
Albert: Then I also know when Cheryl's birthday is

So, when is Cheryl's birthday?

Repetition vs. uniqueness. When faced with incomplete information, what factors are in common, and which ones are unique? Then factor in selective perception and deduction.

That might work.
Thanks.

You will get up to a halfway point, and it will make sense, but then you will need to re-review the problem to get the final answer.

We got us a regular Sherlock Holmes, here. (in New York accent) :o

So Taylor Swift's mom has cancer... I feel bad that I kinda want to hear the song she will inevitably write about it. :(

Maooz, be proud.
Saw an hour of one of your favorite movies from last year, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Well, it's nice to know that I just had to fork over $200 to the effin IRS. Effin parasites!!!:cmad: :argh:

Just become a scientologist since they are the only ones to defeat them. :o

I hate having to pay additional income taxes come March/April of every year, but think of it as a sign you finally made it, when you make enough to be one of us poor suckers who support everyone else through our tax dollars. Yay.

Sweet Hypedays.
Sensi made an appearance in the lounge.

I think it's kind of funny that even though it has been several years since I last rolled sometimes I still grind my teeth when a really sick song drops in a mix.
