I wasn't interested at all, and skipped the first trailers... So my buddy is like, "Hey, the ANTMAN trailer dropped, check it out. I'm watching TERMINATOR's right now too." So I check out the ANTMAN one (loved it) and thought, hey, may as well check out that TERMINATOR one too... How can you give away such a HUGE plot point in a trailer? I am not saying it's a good story idea or a bad one, it could be really interesting... but to give it all away in the trailer like that? I don't care what any expert says... They just show way too much in trailers. Enough for you to guess every plot turn and character arc. Or, like with this one, just giving away the whole story.

Im conflicted by Terminator. I want it to be financially successful for Arnold, so that I can get King Conan...but dammit the storyline and overall approach to this flick utterly disgusts me. I kinda want the franchise to crash and burn. And then for the soil of the crash site to be salted.

Im conflicted by Terminator. I want it to be financially successful for Arnold, so that I can get King Conan...but dammit the storyline and overall approach to this flick utterly disgusts me. I kinda want the franchise to crash and burn. And then for the soil of the crash site to be salted.

That's not too far off from my view. Some things need to lay fallow for a long time. Terminator was one of those.

I don't mind different interpretations of the mythology. I'll still see it. Honestly the biggest thing that pisses me off here is the casting. Why couldn't they get another gaunt and wiry scrapper to play Reese instead of a complete meathead like Jai Courtney?
