I figured it might have been Black Widow. She's been running around since WWII. Plenty of time to have a few unwanted pregnancies.

That would be great. I doubt Ares would even care. "Bah, he was woman enough when I f***ed him. The puritanical sexual constraints of you impotent 'modern' weaklings mean nothing to me." :hehe:

I could see it now. At the end of the next Cabal Meeting Loki pulls Osborne aside and tells him." Hey, could you, uh, tell Ares to call me? Tell him his little horny toad misses him. :o"

Aw, I keep wishing for a happy ending for Cho and Delphyne, but I know it's like 99% definitely not gonna happen. :csad:

I'll be interested to see what that helmet's supposed to do. Obviously it's forged from the Aegis (super-ironic, then, since the centrepiece of the Aegis is Medusa's head) that they took from Aegis, but that in and of itself didn't make him the kind of uber you'd need to take down a goddess. Maybe, since it's derived from Athena's god-power, they're trying to generate some kind of (technical term) "feedback"?

Delphyne's not just any ol' mortal to begin with, though. Maybe the helmet will amp her stone-stare up to the point that it'll work on gods.

She doesn't have the stone stare to begin with (though possibly the Aegis itself could be made to do that).

Nah I remember her saying in the Love and War arc that it was only the Gorgon type that Medusa belonged to who possessed the stone gaze.

Buchemi's art is really rocking, isn't it?

At any rate, the Cho/Delphyne situation is tailor made for drama. Bit of a shame Stature isn't here because over in MIGHTY AVENGERS Cho seemed to be flirting with her on occasion. Dude is a player. ;)

Speaking of Ms. Marvel, I've heard some are pegging her as Bendis' sacrifice in THE SIEGE, since her title is getting canceled about when that event will be wrapping. He feels the need to kill off someone every event now, such as Wasp during SECRET INVASION, or Hawkeye in DISASSEMBLED.

It all looks epic, can't wait for the next issue.

I kind of preferred Reilly Brown's work during the odd/even split. But Buchemi's art is great too.

Reilly Brown is epic on the book too.

I really liked Brown's work, but Buchemi's strikes me as better-suited to dramatics.

I'd be cool with Brown returning when Buchemi needs a "break month" or a "break arc". How's that for a compromise?

To be fair, INCREDIBLE HERCULES has usually had so many artists that pegging down who is the "regular" is difficult. Usually most will stick around for one arc and then usually go. Brown and Buchemi have both down more than one arc, I think. Khoi Pham used to be the regular artist, but he left to essentially do MIGHTY AVENGERS during the SECRET INVASION tie-in's (and has remained even after Bendis left).

I don't think Incredible Hercules has a regular artist. If Buchemi sticks around for another arc after this one, I imagine he'd qualify. But otherwise it seems like the series is just rotating various artists. Thankfully, most have been really good.

Hmm, I wonder if they'll actually kill Herc and, if so, how long it'll last.
