The Incredible Hulk Gallery: The Official Pictures Thread

Hulk isn't a bodybuilder though. He's a beast with raw strength. Have you seen a bodybuilder ever compete at truck pulling contests or other similar competitions? Those people have huge muscles, but don't have every single vein popping out.
Say hello to 4-time and current reigning World's Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski. Ripped and veiny just like Hulk should be and finally is.

No, he isn't, it's the lighting that makes it seem that way sometimes but I assure you he's not green.

That's just how I feel. Ang got carried away with what he did to the Hulk. The movie was boring and there were too many outlandish changes. *cough dad as Absorbing Man cough*

And to a certain degree, it would look cool. But with the current Hulk it's like every vein and strand of muscle is visible.

Mariusz is crazy. He's, like, five feet tall and he owns ass competing against 6-and-a-half-foot Norwegian dudes. He incorporates bodybuilding routines into his training. He's kind of a hybrid that way.

Actually, proportionally, his physique is too far off from Ang Lee's Hulk. Emphasis on large shoulders, pecs, traps and neck; compact, powerful midsection; etc. But you see why CG is necessary. Even Pudzianowski doesn't have the nearly the poroper proportions when it comes to his outer extrmities - hands, wrists, feet, ankles, etc.

Just because he gets bigger doesn't mean he becomes completely invincible. Still, 9 or 10 ft is the perfect height. I don't really like him being 7 ft tall now adays because of how many people in the world are either that height or close to that height.
I would have been happy at 8ft. He may need to fit inside a house or building (Avengers building) or helocopter etc. You don't want to need an oil tanker everytime the Hulk needs to be moved in chains.

I'm absolutely 100% pro CGI Hulk. I'm using Mariusz' physique as reason why a CGI Hulk should be completely ripped and veiny like Leterrier's, not soft like Ang's.

First off, there's a big disparity in definition and vascularity between Mariusz Pudzinowski (I probably butchered that spelling) and Letterier's Hulk. In short, what the Hulk's got isn't possible. Which, to a large degree, is fine - the Hulk is supposed to be an exaggerated, super-human. In my opinion, they've gone too far with it, at the cost of a convincing character. Ang Lee's Hulk was just about perfect, I thought. They exaggerated his physique in a way that suggested real-world functionality, and wrapped it in incredibly life-like skin. And Ang's Hulk was incredibly defined (low bodyfat), to a degree also not seen on most humans - far from soft. There's not really a wrong way between the two; I just don't care for the more cartoonish look we've got now.

I hate even a 10 ft Hulk. Its impossible for anyone to beat him if hes to big. Just picture Doc Samson next to him now, no match. Iron Man next him no match, years ago at least these guys had a chance until the Hulks rage took over. Its his rage that made him the strongest not his size. He always beat the bigger guy because of his rage not size.

Just because he's bigger doesn't mean he can't be matched. I don't like comparing two completely different things, but Doomsday was bigger than Superman and they still ended up taking out eachother.

And I really don't understand all this "cartoonish" crap people keep saying. He looks perfect, couldn't get any more awesome to me.

Exactly. There have been plenty of times the Hulk was much bigger than an opponent and still lost. Size doesn't always equal power.

Well they are making Abom 15ft to make everyone think he's stronger than the Hulk & we know he is until the rage sets in.

It would kinda make sense that the % of fat on his body would lessen to the extent where it would be at complete 0 for the hulk. Banner is such a skinny guy anyways.

I don't think that he would produce more fat when hulking out.

Well basically the transformation of th hulk is like cancer. Its mass increase of cells. Muscles cells are larger than fat cells so the muscle would increase more than fat

Yes, we've been throught that...

It would be best if I could show you some good caps from the last flick, because I was really discussing this new Hulk in comparison to the old one. But, alas, I haven't any. But the body types are noticeably different, one example being in the trapezius/shoulder region.

Sooo... that's a no then...

Blue, to be honest. I think he may have been green once but only in one movie which escapes me at the moment.

Godzilla was NEVER blue. Perhaps in the FOX cartoon series from a few years back: itself based on that 1998 bastardization by those talentless hackmeisters Devlin & Emmerich. Neither is canon in the Toho Godzilla universe; nor is the hideous green 1970's Hanna-Barbera version.

Godzilla has always charcoal gray through ALL of the Showa (60's & 70's) and Heisei (90's) films. In 2000 he was re-designed and his skin tone was made a dark green (which thankfully only lasted for 2 films). He was/is changed back to his former dark gray now.

If he ever appeared otherwise it was likely due to 1) mis-adjusted hue settings on your television set or 2) the worn out & faded pan&scan prints used for TV broadcast.

As for the Hulk he should never be over 8ft. Extra height detracts from the raw power behind his feats of strength. For example, its no where near as impressive for a 20ft. Hulk to throw a tank as it is for an 8ft. Hulk. Scale and scope are all messed up as you increase height. Too bad Ang didn't stop to think about that before changing things because he thought he knew better. (NOT)

5 feet tall? What are you talking about? He's 6ft 1in, 310lbs. And he's been busted for steroids a few times.

It was hyperbole. For dramatic effect. The point is, he's usually one of the smaller competitors.

i typed steroids on google and looked what i found

if this guy exists i think he can beat the Hulk and Abom lol
