From the moment I saw the Iron Legion in the trailer I knew "this is going to be one expensive movie for Hot Toys collectors". I really hope they make an Igor one.

what is meant by "artillery level rt suit"? Does that mean the Heartbreaker armor will have a high level of firepower?

Hot Toys aren't making regular Iron Man 3 figures they will be made in a new series called the Diecast series which cost more than the regular series. (I'm still hoping for regular versions of the characters).

The art of the movie book is going to be ****ing insane.

I don't think we have that kind of stuff here in Holland :( Oh well. You guys get the art-book ... we get the movie 2 weeks earlier :woot::cwink:

Yeah. I'm definitely picking that up when it comes out.

I already preordered it!

It will most definitely be the most interesting Art of book yet :hrt:

Disney/Marvel is going to make an absolute KILLING on toys from this. this movie is going to be ridiculously profitable

Unfortunitely, the Assemblers toyline is total trash. It looks like it will self warm in stores.

Kinda unfortunate, since this would made an epic toyline, had they stayed with the traditional 3inch figures.

As for Hot Toys, it will take them more than a decade to release all these new armors and will cost collectors thousands. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing though, since the Iron Man stuff is their best stuff xD

The arc reactor in the suit is significantly larger than usual, giving his suit a huge power increase, with his repulsors as well as its other functions.

Disney XD Version Of The New Trailer!

Somewhat Abridged and features only 1-2 slight snippets of new footage.

New snippets: 0:09, 0:43-4, 1:24.

So how does someone actually wear Igor? He has to be hunched over the whole time?

'Iron Man 3's' Rebecca Hall talks about her character's flashback scene

In an interview with Rebecca Hall about "Iron Man 3" on March 26, she had revealed a flashback scene involving her character, Maya Hansen, and a flashback scene where she first met Tony Stark in 1999.
The scene takes place on New Years Eve with Happy Hogan, Tony Stark, and Maya Hansen all meeting up in her hotel room. Not to worry, it's not what you think.

"We had a fun time shooting it because it was funny on the page, but somehow the three of us started getting more and more ridiculous with it and got a lot of jokes out of it".

Hall continued on about how funny it was to have taken notice of the trend and styles of the 90s. She thought that one wouldn't think how "period" it was, but after taking close look to the attention to detail of the costumes, hairstyles, and other accessorized fashion products, it was indeed a noticeable flashback to that era prior to the Y2K bug. She even made reference to Jon Favreau's ability to take on the likeness to an iconic character from a 90s movie.

"You realize actually that the haircuts were really specific and there are certain cultural references that you can really milk like Jon Favreau dressed up like John Travolta in “Pulp Fiction.” It’s kind of great".

since its taller i think the face matches up to the faceplate without hunching.

So then it has to be like the Iron Monger armor since the arms wouldn't line up. But it doesn't look tall enough to fit like Monger.

TBH we havent seen much of it...I am pretty sure its like Iron Monger except designed by Tony

I was noticing that under each armor on the FB site there's a title saying "Congratulations" to different locations. So far there's been Florida (Heartbreaker), Canada (Shotgun), California (Silver Centurion), and New York (Igor.) Makes wonder if that means those will be locations we'll see in the movie.
