Well they're already trying to go the Schumacher route where everybody and their momma has a suit. All they need is Pepper in the Rescue armor.

If they're gonna change him too much, I'd rather they don't use him at all. What happened with Abom in TIH was they couldn't justify the reptilian features when everything else in the film was so grounded. I'm sure there was a way to write in a reason for it like "Blonsky, we have to inject you with a hormone derived from frogs to allow the serum to work properly." There were definitely ways to do it, they just didn't try. MODOK can be done faithfully.

Thats what happens when you have a hack like Louis Lettiter directing & Marvel for not standing up & demanding the look stay the same.

This could have easily been a side-effect of Sterns research or something. I do wish Abomb had possessed a more classic look.

But the good thing with science monsters is that they can always mutate further, so maybe if they bring him back someday his look can be altered a bit.
