Joker "The Joker" in development with Todd Phillips and Martin Scorsese attached? - Part 2

Correction, nobody likes blingy, hipster, wannabe pimp Joker.

I like how that tweet is from a guy who, in some wacky alternate universe, could've ended up being The Joker in TDK. (I was a Bettanyboi the whole way through but man am I glad we got Ledger anyways)
Yeah, those were funny times. There were some great manips of Lachy, Eccleston and Bettany, though. This one of Eccleston was particularly good.

That was a great one indeed. I still enjoy this one :

Now I just want Bettany to be John Constantine since it's clear they don't wanna give Matt Ryan the Hellblazer show or movie that he friggin deserves by now . Check out my fake Hellblazer trailer with Bettany if you'd like, lol :

Bettany was my guy back in the day as well. Truthfully, I wasn't fully on board with Ledger until the first theatrical trailer came out. I was also in the permawhite camp early on.

Shout out to Telltale Joker who I love and don't see enough people talking about. They rode a great line between a sympathetic Joker and an antagonist depending on your choices.
Anthony Ingruber did a great job with the different voice for the Joker which is funny cuz he was known for doing a good Ledger impression. I hope we get to see a Joker like him again

He was ok. Too bad we'll never see how the rest of the story played out. That game should have gone on for at least 2-3 more seasons.

Definitely an interesting take on Batman.

I remember this manip like it was yesterday haha. Feels like 100 years ago

There is one piece of fan-art from the BB days that I've been trying to find but for the life of me I can't. It was from when we were speculating what the batsuit would look like. I remember it actually not looking too dissimilar from the Affleck suit. It was sculpted musculature and was much more creature-like in appearance. The image kinda had a brownish color to it.

He was ok. Brilliant performance by mah boi Tony aka "should've-been-in-Solo guy", but even the antagonistic version was a bit too weak willed for my take on Joker . His introduction was brilliant and tbh I've only ever played the first season of Telltale Batman but what I've seen of where they take the story (both versions ) in season 2 has me kinda weary.

I undoubtedly LOATHE TF out of their version of Penguin tho. No questions. Basically a discount British Hush/Anarky combo, nothing about him felt like the Penguin to me in the slightest with his "toyme fah tha revoLUshun" ass

I wasn't really a fan of what they did with him in S2. They basically reversed the roles of Harley and Joker, where Joker was being abused mentally by Harley, and she was calling all the shots.

But at the same time, he didn't fully grow into The Joker just yet, but whatever, it was a weird take.

Yep, that's exactly what my problem was with it when I saw some clips of it. That just didn't sit right with me at all. There's almost a role reversal for them in Suicide Squad as well but that might be the least of that movie's problems lol

sometimes the truth hurts
Believe it or not, people're STILL out here saying "LeHtOe CuLdA BiN gR8 dEy ju$$ cUt oUt dA $cEnE$ hE i$ $tiLl gEwD J0KUR UnLiEk KeiFf LeTtUr wHo WuZ jU$$ dA AnArKi$t In Da kLaOwN mAkEuP nAhT dA 1 TR00 J0KUR lOlLoLlOl"

A comic book movie premiering at the Venice Film Festival?

:hmm
:wowe:

I hope Joker blows us all and prove once again that superhero-based films are as legitimate and worthy of praise as others.

Looks like WB is gonna go all-in on Joaquin's campaign. Hoping he gets nominated if this performance is as good as most of his from the last 10 years.

Check out some of the comments and it seems certain critics have already made up their minds....
P.S. There have been no critic screenings yet

:sus
