Despite the success of their last few movies, the DCEU still seems like a mess because of things like that.

Suicide Squad was firmly in DCEU, with Batman. But SS2 isn't? Oooookay.

There are too many continuity questions that WB needs to just ****ing answer already. If the answer is "we just don't care about continuity anymore," that's fine. But they need to say that. Until then, it's just them throwing spaghetti on the wall to see what sticks.

Not the same. Pattinson is playing a younger Batman and batfleck was batman for like 20 yrs in JL. Rodey was playing the same dude just different actor. Pattinson is a whole different Batman

I don't know if you guys know that but 2 things about this movie from my home country of Greece.
1) The movie is pacing to be the highest grossing movie of the decade there.
2) During the weekend the police raided 2 cinemas with 50 cops to get under-aged viewers. That has escalated to a political fight between the government and the opposition prompting for changes in laws since the parents of those kids are about to be prosecuted for not taking care of their minors.
As a result the movie is on public TV on every major network having the Members of Parliament debating about the film and the messages.
P.S. Our ex- prime minister Tsipras loved the c***p out of this movie and he was prompting people to go and see it saying that he could not believe that a Hollywood film of this kind could be made at this time.

Joker passed $30m in Japan and $50m in sight.
can't believe how well it's doing, it already surpassed almost every DC or MCU movies and will surpass Avengers ($36m), Age of Ultron ($32m), Infinity War ($33m) in a coming week. i don't think it can top Endgame ($66m) but the fact that Joker is becoming one of the biggest CBM of all time here in Japan put smile on my face.
