Yeah I dont see it not hitting it now. The international holds are ridiculous

Bet WB is kicking themselves for splitting off the profit between Bron and Village Roadshow studios right now

1 billion in sight, Joker ! And, here we goo![]()
New to the board. I think a Joker and Harley Mad Love type Valentine's Day movie would have done very well at the box office. I wonder why the went with Birds of Prey.
Oh hell yeah! So well deserved.
I hear you but I think people would rather see a Harley/Joker movie with some Ivy. Instead of Birds of Prey.Welcome friend. I'm thankful they didn't. This film squarely kills the notion that Joker needs Harley for anything.
I love the term Billie lol. I don't know if it was you or someone else that used it in this thread a few weeks ago but it made me lol then and it makes me lol now. I am totally stealing it. its just too cool of a term.Billie locked & loaded without China and with an R-rating, a small budget, and no big action set-pieces. Joaquin Phoenix turned out to be the best special effect they could have hoped for
If they ever did a sequel, i would like them to add Harley to show everyone how terrible her relationship with Joker truly is, instead of that romantic **** they did with SS. An exploration of abuse and codependency could make a great and sad film imo. They would touch a theme not many (if any) cbm has touched yet.I hear you but I think people would rather see a Harley/Joker movie with some Ivy. Instead of Birds of Prey.
I just hope they don't try to have a female empowerment arc for Harley. I've always felt she was the wrong character to do that.If they ever did a sequel, i would like them to add Harley to show everyone how terrible her relationship with Joker truly is, instead of that romantic **** they did with SS.
