Joker "The Joker" in development with Todd Phillips and Martin Scorsese attached? - Part 2

Anyway get ready for Film Twitter to blow a gasket when Driver starts losing the televised awards to Phoenix.

How was Driver in Marriage Story, though? Haven't seen that movie yet, but all that I've heard seems to be good buzz for both Driver and Johansson

So far he's my third favorite lead performance of the year, behind Pattinson (The Lighthouse) and Phoenix (Joker). De Niro comes in at fourth.

Haven't seen Sandler (Uncut Gems) yet and I've got to wait until January to see Banderas (Pain and Glory).

He's fantastic. I'd put him on the same level as Phoenix.

Driver and all the others mentioned were great, but...

It's a shame Shia LaBeouf is going to get snubbed hard because Honey Boy was ****ing AMAZING.

I think at this point we can be sure Joker is the only cbm that will get serious oscar buzz.

I dunno. Knowing Disney, I imagine they'll push hard for Endgame to score a bunch of nominations. Not that it'd have any shot, but I think the House of Mouse would definitely give it a shot, even if the movie has no realistic shot.

I watched all the behind the scenes stuff today. Joaquin is fascinating, as was the filmmaking process between him and Phillips.
