Joker "The Joker" in development with Todd Phillips and Martin Scorsese attached? - Part 2

First lead actor win for a super....villain actor!

Hope both of them get that Oscars next!

Headline - Joaquin wins to rub Scorsese’s face (since apparently he was referring to DC and Fast and Furious as well with the cinema comment, according to KC Walsh) j/k

He looks so done

Well done, Phoenix. Bravo.

Phoenix gives no **** s

Ahaha hoping that he feels bad at this moment of his life.... loving how he is articulate and and commited to environmental action.

ps: pretty sure that going by his comments a Joker Sequel is coming

Phoenix gives no **** s

I'm so happy he won the Golden Globe but I love that he doesn't care for the Hollywood limelight. He's so down to earth and unfiltered which is awesome.

So how salty was Film Twitter last night?

Congratulations to Joaquin Phoenix for winning a Golden Globe after delivering the performance of a lifetime.

But Beyonce didn't stand when he got his award so it doesn't count. :o

He's a weird ****ing dude. Good actor, sure. But so weird.
I think he just has social anxiety and Phoenix himself has stated he suffers from anxiety. I can relate as I act like a weirdo when I'm around a huge group of people :funny:

I'll be the first to admit that I don't always like his performances (I absolutely HATED him in Inherent Vice) but Phoenix's performance in Joker was the best performance that I saw last year. Now, I haven't seen ever 2019 film and maybe there will be something that wows me more, but I doubt it. He was just TOO good.

There's gonna be so much hype if they do a similar teaser with the title Joker...and the words "and Batman" appears next to it lol

I just don't see other interesting ways to make it work as a character study post origin, even Todd Philips suggested Batman lol.

Joaquin's basically on board for a sequel from the start of the press tours
