no there should be big monument to bill finger and next to it a little wooden grave for bob kane that the wind knocks over!

2. He was trialed and executed during the 8 year time span
Even the most dangerous and vile criminals generally stay on death row for much longer than that. But alas tis only a movie. I, however, prefer to imagine Joker has been incarcerated in solitary confinement at a supermax.
They will probably make a passing mention.
The only other thing that maybe is possible is a Harley Quinn cameo at the end walking through arkham to free Joker or something like that, maybe with a Joker laugh, but we don't actually see him or anything. Prob won't happen, but maybe...
It seems like the Joker is gonna feel more like an anomaly in the scheme of the trilogy's story.
Well, if rumors are true and Bane is tied to the League of Shadows, it's gonna feel IMO like Joker (and by extension the freaks/corrupt) weren't the greater threat in the trilogy. Instead of Batman's final fight being with the people who wanted to revel in Gotham's chaos, it will be with the people who (in Bane's own words) wanted to reduce Gotham to ashes to prevent said chaos. I hope I'm wrong, though, and Bane is more like his comic counterpart who wanted to make Gotham his personal battleground.Explain please.
