This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]532613[/split]
Yeah, also loved the Lanterns reference. Tho, I really did let myself believe they were finally going to announce Hal
I really like how they try and tell us Superman was a beacon of hope in the last two films.

Man, this new Injustice 2 DLC looks great.![]()
Tony Gunk. Isn't that Q's alias from Impractical Jokers? And Q is known to be a comic book nerd as well. Always wears Superman shirts.
Wow, this is mind-blowing. Whedon actually gets a co-director credit. I didn't believe it could happen. When the internet will find out, it'll explode. WB lied.
OH BTW GUYS. I remember someone posting a download link to the Justice League trailers from Itunes/Apple (I think) that had 5.1 audio and awesome quality, I can't seem to find them so would someone help me out please? Just want to be ready for when this trailer is on there.
Nothing about the trailer reminds me of Injustice. Heroes being heroes. Good versus evil. Superman is a source of inspiration. Heroes partnering with humanity. A lot of emphasis on hope. Don't get the comparison at all.
As I said in the previous JL thread, for Superman 2, Richard Lester had to shoot up to 51% of the film to receive full director's credit. Whedon isn't getting full director's credit here, so it must be less than that, and certainly not up to 50%.
But on the other hand, Richard Donner claims that roughly 25% of the theatrical cut of Superman II contains footage he shot. And Donner didn't receive director's credit on that movie.
So it has to be between 25% and 50% in order for Whedon to receive co-credit rather than full credit, and for Snyder not to lose director's credit.

Literally the best thing in the trailer. And what a great way to put the Lanterns over as a powerful force. If they were on Earth, Darkseid wouldn't be attacking!
Clearly you missed the joke.
He was a beacon of hope. He inspired Pete Ross, Lois Lane, Colonel Hardy, Captain Ferris, and Dr. Hamilton. He brought hope to the people of Juarez. And, most importantly, he inspired Bruce Wayne to be a hero again.
